While he worked on TRAGICSTREETZ, his wife, Mei Li Haskell, ran her business, and they had three kids together who were looked after by Mei Li's parents. However, a grim discovery would be made in a dumpster near Sam's workplace.

I mean, it's crazy that they took the bags back to him first. Why didn't they just take them straight to the police and tell them where they got them? But also, what chaoswitch said there is probably also true, but if you show up with dead bodies, the cops at those precincts would have called the cops from the applicable precinct to come and get the evidence and interview you.
All the news reports kept emphasizing how he came from a powerful Hollywood family, when in reality it was his wife paying ALL the bills.

I'm just surprised that this is Sam IV as it doesn't at all reflect of how Sam or Mary are like.

This poor family, I feel so awful for them. They were all working so hard for Mei Li, clearly having so many high hopes and dreams for her future, and she was also working toward her goals. It’s the constant Zoolander face poses that gets me. He’s like a real life version of the characters on SNL’s, The Californians. I live in Southern California and I never laugh as hard as I do when I watch their version of what Californians are. First, because there are actually people like that and secondly, the storylines are spot on. From the housekeeper, to the gardener, to the superficial residents like the douche in this tragic story. He is a product of his upbringing with no doubt a tinge of mental illness. He knows the difference between right and wrong.

Yesterday, KTLA reported that the police just released the DNA report on the torso. It is 100% Mei Li’s torso. Her parents’ bodies still have not been found. However; I don’t know if they are doing further DNA testing on the other body parts they found.

When I was 4 maybe 5, I can remember waking up one night to my mom packing me a bag, my two older brothers were already by the door with their bags and we got out of there in the middle of the night. I used to be a waitress! You’d be surprised how many people think that _we_ control how the food is cooked. I did my best to look at the food beforehand and make sure everything is acceptable, but I did not control how they cooked the food. I was genuinely surprised how many adults, almost exclusively older people tbh, don’t understand that. They yell at whoever is in front of them.
Yep. I used to wait tables, too, and like you said, it's amazing how many people think their waitress cooks the food AND serves it, lol. Ignorance at its finest.
I think they figure the server is checking the food and how it looks to make sure it's good enough to bring to the table. Back in the 70's, it was the servers responsibility to turn burned food back to the cook and have them do it over. Could be where the misunderstanding is.
i’m hostess in a restaurant and this shit happens at least once a day. my favorite thing is when ppl let their food sit for 20-30 minutes before starting to eat then calling over the server to fuss at them about the food being cold. like no shit its cold you rat you let it cool for half an hour
