  • Logan Clegg was an international man of mystery, camping in the New Hampshire woods. When Stephen and Wendy Reid went missing while on their usual walk, police began to search for them. They met an "Arthur Kelly" camping, and he turned out to be a bigger monster than they could imagine.

      They supported a weak criminal justice system. They're progressives. Clegg would've been locked up and this could've been prevented. But you know, progressives don't believe in locking people up. Typical NH liberals, it's why the safest state is having a crime and drug problem.

      I gave your comment a thumbs down because describing anyone as being either evil or a monster is ludicrous. How can you possibly be so uneducated as to have never heard of poor mental health? It is not even complicated to comprehend that those of us fortunate to have a sound healthy mind, dont go around harming kids or adults, do we? no, we dont! Please conduct some serious study into criminal physiology.
      The main issue is the fact that the vast majority of people have an average or below average IQ and as such are unable to comprehend the vast difference between an excuse for human behaviour and a genuine reason for said behaviour!

      The political move to go soft on crime is done at the cost of innocent lives. In my city, protecting yourself, even in your own home, can lead to prison time for you with great public sympathy being given in the news for the dead career criminal. A 15-year-old was hired to murder a woman, a mother to three small children. He was given 3 years in juvie arranged for by the DA. The mother's door was broken down and the thug shot her square in the face in front of her children. The DA publicly poured out compassion for the misguided, disadvantaged, oppressed, minority youth with the hopes that he not be traumatized by the system in those three years.

    Sad case of a senseless crime. And this highlights what's wrong with the justice system. The fact that Clegg was able to get out after the walmart arrest so quickly and then arrested again for another stolen handgun 19 days later and then only served 72 days(im assuming he was sentenced to 180 days 72 is mandatory minimum on a 6 month sentence) is appalling. Her door was broken down and he shot her square in the face in front of her children. The DA publicly poured out compassion for the misguided, disadvantaged, oppressed, minority youth with the hopes that he not be traumatized by the system in those three years.

      You couldn't pay me enough to go walking in the woods now, even during the day. I can still see that woman that jogged thru a park that she always did at about 6 pm after the gym and getting tanned, and who was overcome by some guy in that was seen on camera after raping a minor girl in L.A. (the white woman on the East coast had 5 kids; don't remember her name). She fought back and he took a rock, smashed in her head, and then S.A.ed her as she was dying. Close by another woman of color that was a Spanish teacher who would walk in another park a few miles from there after school, again during the day even earlier...ended up raped and killed too. I could go on and on...these people never thought this would happen to them. Even couples, it's just too dangerous now, with the homeless living in the woods with no cameras or witnesses to what they do to you. Nope.

    Glad to see you are almost at 2 million subscribers, Mike! My husband and I have been watching you for years... I am also subscribed to and watch many of the other top true crime people even prior to them getting 'big' as I've been interested in true crime for quite some time (Ballen, Kendall, Coffeehouse, EWU, Annie, Fascinating Horror, Truly Criminal, Beyond Evil, Nick Crowley, Nexpo to name just a few...). I have always thought your content is the most consistently outstanding (the research, the storytelling, the number of cases covered and original cases covered) by far. The fact that you have been doing this for YEARS longer than almost any of the other creators and the frequency with which you post also make you the best. I don't think I've ever commented before but I wanted to say these things and again congratulate you- in a rational world you would have the most followers of any in this genre but whatever. PS The life insurance bit is my absolute favorite thing.

    • @gumballrun9881
      @gumballrun9881 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      Also want to add that part of what makes you stand out compared to similar channels is how you clearly have a passion for/enjoy what you do. I've seen many other creators (Ballen, anyone?) start strong with the uploads and as soon as they plateau and are comfortable cut way back- I totally understand that creating videos takes a lot of time etc., but it feels like it's more about maintenance and this being their job rather than something that they naturally want to invest their time in. This approach I've just described to being a youtuber isn't by any means a CRIME (heh!), but I prefer watching people who are excellent and prolific because they are genuinely just doing what they love as is the case with you. Again, congrats and thank you!
