    Your videos are Sooooo helpful. You should do a video for all new boilers, to explain the lowdown on them in your clear and concise manner for the user. Downloadable and of course for a fee. Be worth every penny.
    Better than any poorly worded and written user manual.
    Thanks for your efforts.

    Magic intelligent and helpful!!! Tap positions when increasing pressure was tricky as difficult to see and tap positions was confusing. I assumed "in line" with pipes would be correct for "on" but no way of seeing pipe direction as its more like a " knuckle "but your pic of black taps being horizontal prior to adjustment helped big time. Yellow knob being vertical during use was noted also it only has a + - icon
    Glow worm manual diagrams are not colour coded or easy to interpret as they are small and complex to understand even with a magnifying glass and wasn't much help. You saved the day after a F28. Still getting a service though as you mentioned it was a gas issue. I had to bleed radiators to lower pressure from 1.9bar to 1. 2 bar when not firing because I overdid the pressure increase method initially. Would 1.9 bar for 30mins damage boiler during resting mode ( ie) no taps on or radiators?
    Many thanks.

    If your boiler says ‘no’ when trying to adjust the flow temp the way shown in the video, you can only adjust it by accessing the diagnostic codes. Hold mode for 7secs. 00 will display. -/+ to 96. Press mode to confirm. d.00 is shown. -/+ to d.71 then press mode. -/+ to your desired temp. If you allow the value to flash for 3 secs the setting is automatically confirmed. A tick will display for 1 sec. Press mode for 3 second to finish. This is all in the installation and maintenance instructions manual 😊 Hope this helps someone.

    My mother has this exact type of boiler. The heating water is set to 70C. But when we try turning it down the display just shows 'no'. The house has a ClimaPro2 controller which I think means some of the settings can't be changed on the boiler. Glowworm came out and were totally useless. Completely daft as the house gets far too hot, but we've never been able to find anyone that knows how to adjust the heating water temperature.

    • @WorcFlyer
      @WorcFlyer หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@astralgary. We gave up with the ClimaPro2 controller. This controller is just useless junk (suspect it was a freebie that the house developers went for). My mum got a conventional thermostat controller installed this year and it has transformed things. Boiler heating water is now set at a sensible temperature and it no longer runs at 'nuclear heat'. Hope you get it sorted, but I think the best (only?) option is to bin the ClimaPro 2.0.

If your boiler is linked to a thermostat you can adjust the water temperature from that thermostat - You can also call the glowworm hotline, they can talk you through the menu as I had to with my glowworm for the flow temperature. you need to press the buttons in a certain order if you want to do it directly from the boiler

    If anyone has had this problem with their boiler ECO mode not turning off even after holding plus and minus it’s because your hot water Temperature is set below 55c and it has to be 55 for ECO mode to be off then if you try eco mode with plus and minus it will work with plus and minus

      @@tomray3590 hello!
      I did some research around this .
      This boiler is a condensing system and relies on hot water tank (megaflo) for boiling water . The megaflo has a screw to adjust thermostat underneath the grey covers. This adjusts the hot water temp. Note- The hot water tank should have a minimum temp of 55-60 degrees centigrade to prevent the growth of legionella and other pathogens . Ours was set to 55 degrees C by the installer.
