The first pair are great especially climbing on top of cement walls or roofs, you feel confident knowing you're knees are well protected no matter the job
Downside to the thigh supports. If you put them on over jeans or overalls they tend to fall down a lot. And build quality is so so. Iv had mine 6 months and the Velcro already came off and the seams pop threads quickly. So if your doing a lot of moveing and up and down don’t get the thigh ones.
I know what you mean as I feel like I have to adjust them sometimes when walking around. Fortunately, I'm typically doing flooring when I wear so I don't walk around that often. Thanks for sharing.
Tough built products almost always have a lifetime warranty… why wouldn't you look into that? 6 months doing a lot of work and you can get a replacement twice a year.
As a low voltage guy (I kneel in front of an outlet, lateral movement isn't necessary) with limited mobility, I really want the thigh support with the stabilizer shell... maybe one day.
Shingles will rough up the non-marring version (white clamshell) so you probably want to rule them out as they would wear out quicker. The stabilizer pads are only helpful if your stationary in my opinion so I would rule those out as well. The regular clamshell (black) will work well and is really just a matter of personal preference of the thigh support (amzn.to/45Q6ZjU) vs regular (amzn.to/46M5CnE). I personally like the thigh support as they don't fall down my leg, however there is extra bulk so there are pros and cons. Hope this helps.

@@mrniusi11 did. Customer support sucks. I will pay 60 just to not deal with them again.
@@Solvang_circushave you found the best knee pads yet?

Yea if you are stationary the stabilizer shell works great!
big help. thanks!
Glad I was able to help! Thanks for watching.
I hate the strap in the back of the knee
I couldn't agree more! Find myself using the thigh support because of this exact reason as the strap is below the knee.
Which knee pads would you recommend for roofing?
