I've had enough with AMD/Intel duopoly since a long time ago. I'm currently rocking Intel gen 12, no issue, and I'm very happy. My kid's rocking AM5 and 7500F, no plan to update to 9000 series, maybe one of those fancy x3D chips when my kid graduated from online competitive games? For me, most likely the 14th gen. Aside from internet points, we don't need anymore computing power than what we currently have.
Great perspective man! I'm still running on AM4, my laptop is a 2014 Intel Lenovo Think Pad and my work PC is a Surface Pro so feel you! always good to remember we're here for fun, thanks for watching.
I'm running on a 10 year old Intel PC (i7-5930K) that has been on nearly 24/7 for this time. I don't even have m.2 drives yet. My concern is stability and not gaming (last games I played were the Division 2 and Borderlands 3). I'm finally going to upgrade and think I will get the Ultra 285K. I just want it to be stable that I can use for another 10 years. I'll wait a few months to see if there are any other surprises that come up. I like the connectivity of the new Z890 motherboards.
You'll be happy with the performance increase, and now is a great time to get all the new connectivity with the motherboards-it'll be an epic upgrade! I like your thinking: Hold up for some stability and performance improvements that are certainly coming. I'll keep you updated on the channel here. Thanks for watching, and be sure to let me know how your new build goes.
The 12700K was such a good chocie man, that thing dances with the best of them! I was considering one at the time but couldn't afford to upgrade to the new socket so I stuck with Zen 3.
@@JayzBeerz I can't even see it on Amazon right now! It's available in my Aussie local hardware shops but that's because the Core Ultra 9 is $1099 AUD here. Thanks for watching.

Is anyone buying Arrow Lake? Thanks for watching.
When we get Battlemage and see the paired performance. Too much coin to be an early tester.
@@paulboyce8537 Very much looking forward some new info about Battlemage.
i run a 12700k im happy with that, i really can't even use its power. i understand for some folks its to slow, but for me its plenty good

According to DF this paticular processor is slower than the other old gen Intel processors 🤔🤔
a hell of a lot of shilling going on which amd & intel platform owners who own both platforms and don't exhibit moron bias are laughing at also
