- Mutant Future is an OSR game which feels like first edition Gamma World, but plays like Moldvay/Cook D&D. It's well thought out, has some beautiful artwork, and I'm going to be playing it in my near future. Check it out!

Great review. MF is my go-to for post apoc roleplaying and a whole lot of fun. Good job!
Thanks! It’s growing on me the more I look at it!
I love seeing great RPG TH-camrs coming together! :) I have the hardcover of MF: it is a fun, fun read!
Oh have some other post-apocalyptic games and in queue to review. They’ll be coming up soon. Christmas is derailing my schedule!
Just spotted this video, thanks for covering this!
Mutant Future looks like a LOT of fun.
I really, really like the Mutant Epoch setting. Like a whole lot. I'm not a big fan of the system, however. Through experimentation, I have discovered that using the Mutant Future system fits perfectly with the ME setting. Creature conversion is also pretty simple. I honestly think I've found my absolute favorite version of Post-Apocalyptic gaming through this combination! Great video!
Thanks! What kind of system does ME use?
@@DMTalesTTRPG Its called the Outland System. Its a very swingy percentile based system. Character creation is also completely random. It looks interesting, but Mutant Future is much closer to home for my players and I.
Understood. Thanks for sharing!!
I think you'd really like Starships and Spacemen 2E from the same publisher. It's Star Trek with the serial numbers filed off.
Thanks. Hopefully I can still get it!
I love MF. Take a look at the Advanced Mutant Companion. It's neat.
As to tech levels, I was thinking of using advantage/ disadvantage.
A sword vs. power armor would strike with disadvantage.
While a laser pistol vs. chainmail would strike with advantage.
Hmm, I do have some birthday money…
@@DMTalesTTRPG its $10 for print & pdf.
