Thank you! I really feel blessed to have gotten to talk to Steve and Gary...such nice guys. Best wishes to you and Bill...would love to have him on the next one! Seriously one of the greatest voices in rock.
Bijan your interview was very thorough. I even learned a few new facts. It’s been 12 years since I was able to talk to Gary about the band’s history and it was really nice to hear it again from Gary and Steve. You all did a great job and I know Gary was looking on and proud. ❤
Hi Candice, thank you so much for your kind words...that means more to me than I can express. One thing that really moved me throughout my talk with Steve and Gary is just the love that these guys have for one another. I know they would have loved for Gary to have been there with them for that (as would I). Hope you are well. If there is anything I can ever do for you, please don't hesitate to reach out. Thank you!!
I prefer the term pop rock, to power pop. All I know after FIFTY + years of live playing is that good songs with melodies, harmonies and clever lyrics, will never go out of style (though it's dominance is cyclical). Definitely heard Artful Dodger on the Cleveland/NE. Ohio, radio stations and even covered a few of their tunes in some of my bands. Cool interview.
Thanks, I appreciate that. I think you're right - "pop rock" is probably a clearer description of this music, though my hope is that with this channel we can somehow rehabilitate the term "power pop". 😂. Thanks for watching!
Omg…did someone say he was English? (Hope it wasn’t me!). Absolutely…he was a proud Irishman. Think they have a statue of him in his hometown in Ireland, too. Thx for pointing that out!
THAXXXXXXXXXXXX GUYS!!!!!!!!!! MUCH NEEDED
Great interview…. Good job guys…💕 we will have to get Billy in on the next one…

@@poprocksradio You’re welcome! And you are right, they are brothers forever.
This was the gateway band for me. That 75 debut was beloved in my entire family.
Great band. great interview.
Thank you! Really nice guys, too. 😀
Steve Cooper is so damn good.
Amen! Thanks for watching!
I am from Cleveland by the way!
I was at the reunion shows of course.
I love how Cleveland has embraced these guys (and jealous I missed the reunion shows!)
Love this group; wish I could get a T-shirt.
In a perfect world, we would all be wearing Artful Dodger t-shirts. Love these guys, too. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for posting this! I just joined your group, as well!

I love Silver and Gold and always thought it sounded like a different singer.
For those interested, I shared the Homestead single. It's available on all music sights...
Awesome...thanks!!
Rory Gallagher was IRISH not english .
