    For the cake:
    340g butter
    600g sugar
    1 1/2tsp vanilla
    6 eggs
    350ml milk
    450g plain flour
    1tbsp + 1tsp baking powder
    3/4tsp salt
    Sift your flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl and whisk together. Set aside.
    Cream your butter, sugar, and vanilla at medium speed until light and fluffy.
    Add your eggs to your sugar mixture, two at a time, and blend until incorporated. Scrape down the sides as needed.
    Add your dry ingredients alternatively with your milk. Begin by adding dry, then alternate with wet. Add the dry in four parts, and the wet in three.
    Pour your batter into your desired parchment lined pans. Bake at 170 degrees until a toothpick comes out clean.
    For the buttercream:
    250g butter
    500g icing sugar
    pink gel food colouring
    dash of milk
    for the filling:
    Fresh raspberries
    white chocolate chips
    for the decoration:
    Freeze dried raspberries

    Very pretty and can tell u worked hard. Can I suggest a few things... Instead of foil just butter ur tins and add flour then shake off. It's better than foil. Also I noticed the cake looked a bit overcooked, a cake continues to cook for about 10 mins after its out of the oven, so you can take it out earlier. I recommend trimming your cake and with white chocolate add either a bit of water, milk or cream and let cool some.

    Looks so pretty! I think the sugar quantity is quite high, could I reduce it to 300g?

    500g icing? 600g sugar? Is this a typo? That’s a lot of sugar I’m concerned I won’t be able to even taste any raspberry or white chocolate. Just Pure sugar?

    Hi, can I use flavor less oil instead of butter, or half oil and half butter?

      I personally wouldn't, as it will alter the texture!

      of course! I personally don't really like fondant, so I use buttercream but go for it!
