It shouldn't if you keep it in a protected environment like away from humidity and UV light especially. It says it's no different to ink printed pictures. If you left it in the sun it would definitely fade it. So you should be fine.
It tells you to use their special paper or else it will damage it but it seems to need zink paper specifically. Before I found that out I was gonna just cut my own sticker paper but I don't wanna damage it. It might not accept it too.
I just scanned the app chose my region of UK then made an account then you click the plus to add device at the top right and make sure the printer is on and it should connect to it when it tells u to press the button. I found a setup video on utube that will help if your still stuck. Gd luck.
@@piotrgraniszewski8544 I don't know why you need water resistance for photos, but that's not possible because the print are thermal, that's means no humidity. For me quality is good enough, colours are really different, but that's ok too
@@pandiart If you spill anything on it, the photo is toast. But the main downside is the awful digital banding. There is not enough bit-depth to represent tonal transitions properly. This printer is especially bad for abstract photos.
I ended up getting this recently for my birthday and a lot of the sellers were at a discount price. It only costed more because I bought extra paper, a case and the tax was crazy. But I'm glad I got it.

How do I connect to it through the "Mi home" app? I dont see an option for this device?

oh! i have the same mini printer. though, print quality is not that perfect. i luv it still since it's lightweight and easy to use.
I think for that price of printer and such format of the photo, quality is good, so I really like this device very much
Very low res and pixelated. And the colors are off. There is also no water resistance.
