@@azkhanmhd since the paper is thermal the paper will only fade over the course of years however it will darken if left in hot environments but as long as its kept relatively cool they will last
been thinking about getting one of these for my scrapbooking, thank you for the review! seems pretty good for the price and good it's still holding up after a year :) thank you for comparing the different papers as well, and how the image can change over time.

Thank you for this follow up after a year video! I really appreciate it. I have been wanting to get one for a while, but have wondered how fast the pictures fade. I know they do after a while, but I bet being in a book/journal really helps preserve them. For sure on my to buy list! Thanks! :)

I have a printer like this and I use the regular receipt paper (no sticky) and I’ve taped a few things into notebooks for school-I have left my backpack in hot cars a few times. The printed images will come off with excessive heat so keep that in mind when taping/gluing your images!
Yeah this is written in instructions, no heat, water and sunlight. If you want quality prints , you should buy quality paper , like phomemo or peripage , with lifespan 2,5,10 years

I bought one little time ago , i used adhesive thermal paper , I printed some pics and i loved it , i was a bit dissapointed when I noticed that the printings don't last for so long .
You can buy thermal paper that has a long lifespan, for example, Phomemo thermal paper has a lifespan of 2 and 10 years.

Instructions says to leave about 2cm of paper out before printing to prevent jams.
yeah but when you printing and tear off the paper, each time opening the printer and pulling out the paper is not convenient. paper jams not often so ...

My print starts to lighten in a year, under good conditions, let's say there is a printout in a closed book, then it will be well preserved over time
What type of charger should I use to avoid damaging the printer battery? Should I use a 5V/2A one?
The instructions only tell me to use a 5V one, but I don't know anything about chargers.

Hi, looking at these for printing labels for parcels but they have bar codes on them so wondering if the size of print would make the bar code unreadable

That printer is inkless, you need to refill just thermal paper. That device prints just black|white, blue, pink ( the color of the paper)

I used to use an Epson ET-2550 th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.

With a thermal photo printer, there's a smart card to "reset" the printer once it produces strikes and bad result. Wonder if it has the same thing

In this video , and previous review of this printer I show how this app works , you can watch it . All images you select for printing automatically transform in black/white images. What do you mean , how long of images can this printer print for ? In horizontal image can be long as you want because of the roll paper .

Maybe, but each paper has its own lifespan , and these papers do not have much quality, so if you want 5, 10 years lifespan of the print , buy a quality paper like Phomemo, Peripage etc.

It looks like you need to clean the printer head. It should be done after every roll or two. It keeps the blacks dark and solid.

As soon as you have selected an image to print, you are shown the area that will be printed; it may just be halfway there, and when you print half of it only turns out. check everything before printing. Also, when printing, the size of the image that will take up on paper is written in millimeters.
