@@azkhanmhd since the paper is thermal the paper will only fade over the course of years however it will darken if left in hot environments but as long as its kept relatively cool they will last

My print starts to lighten in a year, under good conditions, let's say there is a printout in a closed book, then it will be well preserved over time

That printer is inkless, you need to refill just thermal paper. That device prints just black|white, blue, pink ( the color of the paper)

It looks like you need to clean the printer head. It should be done after every roll or two. It keeps the blacks dark and solid.
