    Just bought the last on of these on the lot. It's my second car purchase (first one was when I was 17 and my parents had to sign everything) and I have never been so confident in my purchase. I cannot wait to pick it up and drive it to Brisbane. Never been a huge fan of driving but the experience can be so enjoyable in the right vehicle.
    Just wanted to add that this video is much more impressive than the European equivalent, but at this point I enjoy watching literally any video about either this car or Halo Infinite.
    Zoom Zoom, indeed.

    I bought a 2020 Mazda Grand Touring in machine gray and love it! I’m always looking into the garage just to admire my Mazda. I know, kind of weird.

    I purchased a Soul Red 2019 Grand Touring Reserve and I'm really liking it. There are some things that I would change, but all in all, I'm very happy with my purchase.

    I live in Canada and have a CX-5.
    I love everything in the car and could write an essay about all the features I like.
    However, the seats are the only thing that disappoints me.
    If you commute for more than 30min, the seat is so hard that it hurts to keep driving it.
    It's a shame that with all the quality, the seats are so hard it kills part of the pleasure of driving it.
    Hey Mazda, please do something about it for next models.

    still need to work on power delivery. With tq numbers like that, should be doing 0-60 mph under 6 seconds. BTW, love the paddle shifters.

    • @2up2down14
      @2up2down14 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Richard z go test drive one, you won’t be asking for more power! 0 to 60 numbers only tell one aspect of the story. This engine feels way more powerful than the numbers suggest

    The only two MAJOR problems with the CX-5 is the lack interior room and lack of good outward visibility. If Mazda could just raise the roof two inches (2") and make it slighty more boxy - that should fix those problems.. But Mazda should keep everything else exacty the same!!! Especially keep the more traditional dashboard and traditional shifter.

    Why hasn't the infotainment system change to the newer generation like mazda 3

    • @RichardBrennan
      @RichardBrennan 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Because, what the video seems to go to great lengths to obfuscate, is that this is essentially the same CX-5 as last year; hardly any of these features are new. The upgraded infotainment will have to wait for a redesign - probably of both the Mazda 6 and the CX-5.

    How difficult would it be for a manufacturer to add adjustable pedals. Short people would appreciate it!

  • @marktepper3440
    @marktepper3440 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The CX-5 is a quiet, refined drive. That being said the front seat bottoms don’t offer any thigh support, the arm rest is too far back, the dead pedal is too far forward and the steering wheel doesn’t pull out far enough. In addition the A pillar is too thick and it’s hard to see around. If you are 6ft tall or above, don’t buy this car. The driving position is flawed.
