A little over a year. This was due to my schedule mainly. If you have more free time it should only take a couple months depending on machine shop turn arounds near you.
Z32 rods, I go over all the parts for the engine in this video here; WE GOT THE ENIGNE BACK! - An Update For Miso, My Z31 300ZX Rebuild th-cam.com/video/NZ5VYcwGdhg/w-d-xo.html
@@FatalRPM Just saw your video I had some questions I didn't hear you mention if you could please answer for me: 1) What size Wiseco piston are you using 87 or 88mm? 2) Are you still using the z31 or did you also upgrade to a z32 crankshaft? Thank you! sorry for the amount of questions I am in the process of a rebuild and want to see what options I have.
@precise4163 I’m using 87.5 since I’ve had my block bored out since it was out of round a bit. Also I’m using the stock crank since I didn’t see a major advantage upgrading it since I’m staying under 700hp (forums say that I can handle over 700) and my clutch is already sorted. Granted, I wouldn’t have the issues I do with the harmonic balancer had I upgraded.
I wanna say everything came out to $1200. There was a bit of extra work done like rebalancing so it did cost a bit more. I will say my options are supremely limited, so if you have options then you’ll probably have better pricing.
I love z31's and z31 content
So relaxing. Thanks for this content. 😌
No problem! I’m gonna try from now on to match the vibe I was in when filming. 😌
I can't wait to get a real job so I can start building my Z31.
Love the video
I was doing DoorDash when I first started this. It’s just the only thing I spent my money on lol
@@FatalRPM Hey, you're doing good homie. Love the content!
This is the content I’ve been waiting for😫
Hes back, LETS GOOOOOO
🥰
What piston tool did you use? I’m doing my first rebuild
It's just a ring compressor off of amazon. You can buy them at the auto parts store too.
Where you get those bolt and studs for the camshaft tray?
That is a bad ass engine 😂
How long did it take you to finish the full rebuild. My engine just blew up

Where did you get those pistons
I got them from Concept Z Performance. Unfortunately they were special order so they took a few months to actually come in.
Did you happen to use the same piston rods from your old engine or did you purchase new rods?
