They are coming down in price. The DJI range like the one they used is not too expensive... I just bought a DJI 3 Standard, the model 1 down from theirs for $629 AU ... the accessories are very cheap on eBay. Its good to buy a cheaper model if its your first time flying a UAV and you have to obey the air traffic laws in your area
The drone they're using is $839
