Those players are all in Sporting CP. As a Sporting fanatic I’d hate to see all our stars leave the club, but if man united want to do anything on the PL they need to rebuild, I’d start with players from Sporting that know the game that Amorim wants to play and add from there according to Amorim’s approval. At a club like Manchester United, there’s no time to “build” players to fit a system. Actual games are not the place to experiment with tactics. A good manager knows how to utilize the players at their disposal effectively, bringing out their best and delivering results immediately. Wake up.
Exactly, and this is why it's a whole different challenge at a big club in the premiership than in Scotland or Portugal. Yes you have to build a team, a system etc that can win things, and you have maybe two or three seasons to do that in. But you have to win matches in the mean time too, or you won't get those two or three seasons. You have to use what have available to still get results. Amorim is trying to play a system that his players can't play. It's naive, and he needs to get smart very quickly.
I'm glad he's not going to change and stick to his plan. He needs help in January from the board sales need to happen or even dip into the loan market to help with the balance of the squad because they are lacking in so many areas.
Ironically, I am both a Sporting and Man United supporter. Yes he knows football. No our league is not as easy as you think. He had at least 1 season to build a proper team and make them play in 3-4-3. These players cant do that and wont do that. He should really admit that and for the rest of the season find a new formation they can be more effective. He is holding too tight to his ideas and ego. Make them play in 4-2-3-1 like ten Hag did and slowly teach them how to defend properly and change formations while attacking and defending. Otherwise you will be fighting for survival the rest of the season. Next you have Liverpool and Arsenal, playing like this they dont stand a chance. Nobody plays with a defense line of 3 in PL. Nobody. He needs to build a squad from the ground up and right now that is just not possible. If he insists on this Man United will be even worse than it is already

Seriously I don't understand managers who have a set formation that they won't change. I think that lack of flexibility is a serious weakness. The team shouldn't and can't change frequently: the manager has to change his tactics. If Amorin ends up with a first 11 that can only play his system, what about when he leaves & another manager comes with different formation? The team is dumped out for a new one? In today's market it's a billion pounds to change top-level team. Paying the coach for the remainder of his contract always ends up a better deal.

The owners need to show the players that amorim is not going anywhere. If they dont do it, some players will think they can keep playing bad and another manager will show up
I’m glad to see United at this point because this is now where the idea of open heart surgery is occurring. We are seeing the worst part of this team now and hopefully we can prevent relegation which is crazy to say and focus on the rebuild.
If you clearly don't have players for your system, then clearly, you need to change the system, and when you get your players in the future that fits with the system, then you use it.
Which system do you think these set of players better suit? We already witnessed a coach sacked for buying players for 4 2 3 1 and still failed to win.
United's players need a tough coach with characters of Mancini , Capello, Jose Mourinho and etc, not a coach slightly above them on age... For Amorim to finish season is very minimal
Good on this coach I agree no change keep same these players need to know to fight out from the bottom because if thy carry on they will know that they are the first players in the history of United to do this bad maybe they have some self respect left in them to push and play better and turn it around
It's his way or no way exactly as it should be. The day u start tinkering away from your principles might aswell pack it all in. I fully believe & trust this man
I think that United’s club organization wasn’t updated to a modern management when Sir Alex left. This is obviously much deeper than just the manger. It is not clear for me if the club has realized that just yet. This will take time to rebuild, several years.
I don't understand about this team if Maguire struggles, next game onana, next zerkzee, next rashford, next game Martinez, next game malacia, next hjlund, next casemiro or eriksen, every game there are players struggling what is wrong wiz this players.
Despite his insistence the owners will begin to question him privately if results continue this way and this is how relationships break down. Even knowing the extreme challenges they have set him and promises made the hotter it gets his philosophy will be questioned in the boardroom.
I trust Ruben, just not the players. Anyone that has been at the club for more than 2 years should go with the exception of Amad (stay), Zirkzee (go) and Onana (fucken go). We need a hard reset to reset our mentality. It can't be fixed with the current squad. Even if it was, there will just be another relapse down the line.

I actually feel bad for the manager and I know he wants to stick to his style, but it’s easier for the owners to get rid of the manager then all the players, so he has no choice but to change his style for a few games because if he doesn’t, he won’t even get a chance to play his style.

the current utd squad, except for maybe 1 or 2 players, would not be getting a game anywhere. they are absolutely rubbish
We already witnessed a coach sacked for buying players for 4 2 3 1 and still failed to win.
the thumbnail made me think it's a good win for the united..😅🤣🤣🤣
United's players need a tough coach with characters of Mancini , Capello, Jose Mourinho and etc, not a coach slightly above them on age... For Amorim to finish season is very minimal
Same old excuses. "It was really hard on us" bullsheet. Poor manager poor decision. Selection was a mess
Hope you never leave 😂
What a breath of fresh air this man is 💪
Good on this coach I agree no change keep same these players need to know to fight out from the bottom because if thy carry on they will know that they are the first players in the history of United to do this bad maybe they have some self respect left in them to push and play better and turn it around
Why did he play Erikson and Casemiro together though?! That was a ridiculous decision. Liverpool dodged a bullet here!
Those are players he got tho 🤣🤣🤣 smh
just continue doing what you believe, and we will see you in the ECL next season
he will be sacked if he loses next 2 games ????
Give this man some time, he needs it esp with the squad we have- we basically need a new 11 lol
I really liked this guy to start with, but his choices in selection are ludicrous
he can only pick who is available.
He need to realize that not every players can adopt to his system . If they keep getting bad results, we are really in a situation to get religated.
He doesn't need to change the players need to adapt his tactic works we know that the players just can't put the ball away
I love this manager. I think he’s doing a great job 😂 We start 2025 on a 4 game winning streak. Thanks for the 3 points @ the theatre of nightmares!!!
If they pulled Amorim midseason that means they want to win now… otherwise they couldve stuck with RVN.. thats what theyre not saying
It's his way or no way exactly as it should be. The day u start tinkering away from your principles might aswell pack it all in. I fully believe & trust this man
this interviewer was good, he needs to do more interviews
Amorim welcome to EPL😅😂😂
Welcome to man united 🤣
They play like they don't even want to be out there. So sad how far this time has fallen. Amorim has a massive task to get United competitive again.
Almost January, he will be able to get at least two players and get to know better his players
Boa Ruben, granda mudança pah!
I like this man even know we’re rubbish ❤
I think that United’s club organization wasn’t updated to a modern management when Sir Alex left. This is obviously much deeper than just the manger. It is not clear for me if the club has realized that just yet. This will take time to rebuild, several years.
Constantly changing managers have not changed anything. Let's give Ruben Amorim and the squad some time to understand and implement his system.
Its emough bring some academy young players if we are losing having these squad then why not trying academic players
His idea is to relegate man utd 😂
No your mum needs to be relegated hui boy 🧒🏻
It's not a bad idea tbh.
😂😂😂 what has this guy done well since he came to man u i haven't seen his importance in the team
With his revolutionary tactics, i am pretty sure next year we are winning the championship.
I don't understand about this team if Maguire struggles, next game onana, next zerkzee, next rashford, next game Martinez, next game malacia, next hjlund, next casemiro or eriksen, every game there are players struggling what is wrong wiz this players.
Too old, too slow, too short, too talentless, too overblown.
I support this manager for sticking to his playing style. Ruben needs players who can play his style. Never give in to players’ power.
Despite his insistence the owners will begin to question him privately if results continue this way and this is how relationships break down. Even knowing the extreme challenges they have set him and promises made the hotter it gets his philosophy will be questioned in the boardroom.
He has charisma. Something Man Utd have not had since Mourinho.
Difference being that Mourinho also had quality.
Probably will get sacked soon.
Get this man a left wing back and a striker asap. It's not fair on him to front the legacy of this club with the low quality he has to choose from.
Man U.... the gift that keeps giving.
If I were you I will not blame onana those short defender you keep at the 3 back what do expect to happened almost all the goals we conceded are all crossing
@@bukorwubufanam6433 The guy is always flat-footed, he's reaction is soo slow. If he tries to save the ball, fair enough but the guy is always rooted to the ground. Plus the hold up of the ball that leads to risky short passes from the back, will give anyone anxiety. BTW I'm talking about his general play, not just yesterday's.
I actually feel bad for the manager and I know he wants to stick to his style, but it’s easier for the owners to get rid of the manager then all the players, so he has no choice but to change his style for a few games because if he doesn’t, he won’t even get a chance to play his style.
ruben really knowing what the level his player is in..poor him..theres no choice..he still trust someone like casemiro and ericsen😢😢😢😢 ruben fault are about 30% the player are 70%
Why is he smiling and happy 😂
Because he’s a charismatic guy. I know… you probably want him to be digging his nails into his own face like Pep Sulkiola
So u expect him to cry? Wtf
@@kenkay7 well that thumbnail expression is a bit much.Almost like he enjoys sabotage
The players are not ready to learn from this man. When other teams are craving for a manager like Amorin but United players want to throw him in the bus like they did to his predecessors. Shame on all these players. If the mgt have no money he should select players from the tier 11 and 111 teams.
His idea is how to relegate united 😅
As long as culture at Man U don't change, you can change as many coaches as you want everything will stay the same.
NEED sone quality players
Jan Oblak Manchester united
His voice sounds alike with checo, looks and smile like Daniel Ricardo😅
Please stay Amorim..
Yes, he is appointed because the club want his idea. If not working, it not his problem. The club thought he would change the team quickly. Positive thing is Players don't have injuries much..
