From portugal and with love in Man. United and Ruben, seeing the last matches, is evident who is performing and also not performing. Only few players for my POV can survive in this team. The ones that needs to be sacked quickly should be Casemiro, Zirkzee, Garnacho, Rashford, and in the future find suitable best players to substitute Bruno, Dalot, Eriksen. I have doubts about Amorim's ability.
I know he's looking at things from a long-term perspective, but he's being too sloppy with the games in front of him.
He stuck with the 3-4-2-1 system, which didn't work, and as a result, he was completely defeated in most of the games at the end of the year.
I watch every game, and he was kept exploiting the weak sides of the three-back formation and the gaps between the defenses.

I’m so glad he explained and defended his approach. An initial position or formation is just a base.
The formation transitions according to the press, the phase of the play, the phase of the offensive and defensive transitions, it is flexible. Ffs I’ve watch City drop into a back 6 in transition, I’ve seen Real Madrid play a front 5 with a back 2 in possession. The formation is not checkers, it’s multi-level chess ♟️. It just requires patience from the fans and the club. Stand by the manager and call out and put on blast the mainstream media and pundits. 🤷🏽

As someone watching your press conferences for the first time, you never ask questions to the coach about the game in specific, its weird. You have a lot of analysis people talking to each other after... But never ask stuff to the coach... Just a general question of; "can you make an overall analysis of the match" And then ask, why u subbed here, why didnt u score with those subs, talk about the key moments? Red cards, Goals suffered, why did it happen?
Its just stuff about the generality of the club and never the match.

I hope they give him time.... This is an absolute nightmare for the man and he still sticks up for the players....i can't imagine the pressure on him cos let's face it - were NOT winning our next game. If they can start playing like they're a goal or 2 down, then we might have a 10% chance. Liverpool have been simple amazing this season - as hard as it is to say 🤢

Utd had three gilt edged opportunities to score tonight and didn't. Therein lies the issue. Whilst we are playing badly, we have to take the chances that are on offer. We lacked aggression, our players seemed to be not on the same wavelength and it was painful to watch. Even in these dire times, the fans would be somewhat forgiving if the players just showed a bit of speed and some bite but this group do not seem to have it and no amount of coaching is going to change that

In a way, I am glad that Rash did not get game time tonight but he must have been pissed to see Anthony on ahead of him. Had he come on tonight, even if he ran like a madman, it would have made no odds. There is no service from a tortoise slow defence through the midfield and out to the strikers / wingers and it just would have made it worse for him. His next game may be a rebirth for him or, it may be his last game in a Utd shirt so boss, choose when wisely.
