I got mine this monday and i absolutely love it. Perfect tuning for many different genres. Tried jazz, rock, rnb, dnb, hip-hop, blues, pop, movie soundtracks, audiophile tracks everything sounds great. If you pair it with decent dacamp (i listsened mainly with cayin ru7 and chord mojo2) then soundstage is spaceous not only in width but also in depth and height. Separation, layering and imageing are the best i have heared out of an iem tho i havent heared any iems north of 500. Tuning is neutral with bass boost like graphs also show. Bass shelf is done very nicely, it doesn't have dip before the boost, so instruments and vocals have natural body and bass doesn't bleed into mids aka no mud. Mids sound perfectly natural, no peaks or dips. No shoutiness. Treble is very even, no sibilance, great extension and detail. Compared to kiwi ears quintet hype4 has more body and impact, even smoother mids, better treble extension (aka more air), better technical performance pretty much across the board (details, imageing, separation soundstage depth and height, layering) Soundstage width wise they seem to be close. To my ear the tuning is spot on with spinfit w1 tips, that also make it sound even more spaceous than with stock tips. Cable is also very nice quality, feels soft and very flexible, no memory, no microphonics. The case is huge tho, will fit IEMs, cables, couple of sets of tips and a dongle dac easily. I agree that it looks better in real life than on video (i also have the black and blue one) In real life it looks bit darker and also more 3D. It looks like silver flakes under few mm of transparent dark blue resin. Fit and comfort is superb, no fatigue after 4-5 hours. Hype4 is also good for people sensitive to pressure buildup, cause it has quite large vent hole. I think i found my endgame cause it has perfect tuning, good tehnical performance and it fits like a glove. Can't see myself paying 600$ more for the same tuning, but with 10% better technicalities aka monarch mk3. The larger shell of the mk3 would be less comfortable to me anyway.
This IEM looks lovely! When I saw the white version I thought "I must have it". Too bad I have already spent too much on IEMs these past months lol. I'll keep an eye for it until the end of the year, hopefully a nice promotion pops up.

Variation bass is more tactile and punchy. But Variation is thin, where H4 is much thicker and lusher in mids. Variation treble is muuuch better than the H4 but might not for everyone.

This is very different with zs10pro v shape. This is more mid head tuning.
Would you say it's a cheaper version of monarch mk3? I heard that their turnings are very similar.
Not at the treble part.. H4 is kinda lacking in the ultra highs.
@@jordanng5428 Thanks! So it's like a mk3 but with mk2 treble.

Mk3 has way more treble, which might not be a bad thing. It has wider stage and depth to it. And detail retrieval.
