@@sub-zero5433 Just found one for 4 dollars today. He's missing his tail and whatever part that connects the cheetah head to the torso, so he's always in bot mode. I've managed to get him to stand, although I don't expect to get any decent poses out of him. Tbh I might just sell it, since Beast Machines doesn't interest me too much
One of the biggest problems with this, other than the fact it exists, is the fact that they gave him a tail whip when in the show he had twin swords. This is why I'm frantically hunting the deluxe.
I got the McDonald's version of Beast Machines Cheetor when I was a kid. The toy's size is somewhere between the average Minicon and a modern-day (as of this writing) legends class and has a *heavily* simplified version of the above figure's transformation scheme. And no, you can't make it pretend it's Shinji Ikari in that one scene from End of Evangelion.
I always considered Beast Machines as the "Dark Ages* of Transformers. (Don't get me wrong. there where some okay figures but other than that. well..not so much)
Considering it pretty much killed the Beast Era * and by extension G1 * and led to the franchise being essentially outsourced to Japan for half a decade yeah I'd say Dark Age is accurate.
Since i found beast machine i was so dissapointed new cheetor design is bruh weird spider idk how to spell her name is human like And optimus primal design for beast machines sucks
The eternal suffering of Spada Baltmatrix in this video is priceless. Shame too, because I feel that Beast Machines Cheetor looks incredible and he deserves a good figure. Ditto for BM Primal, who looks nothing like Primal but still looks cool.
Thanks for making such a great video baltmatrix. I got the mega class cheetor at toycon and it didn't come with instructions. By watching this video I was able to learn how to transform cheetor PURRfectly (pun intended). Keep up the great work.
@blazikenking No, I was talking about BM Cheetor here. But, there was Snarl, who turned into a lion. Sad that a $10 toy does better with the same gimmick (slashing), transformation (stand up kitty, do something with the head), and weapon accessory (tail becomes a melee weapon) than a $15 toy.
Mine is absolutely awesome, someone has replaced the gimmick arm with another non-gimmicked arm. All his joints are tight which allows me to get him into some awesome poses.
2:14-2:27 I Just Can't Pose this figure well. *Figure's pose looks pretty cool.* Yeah, If I see it, I will Buy it. Because you can FIX LOOSE JOINTS WITH FLOOR POLISH, Or is it Floor polish remover?
the only redeeming thing that cheetor's beast mode had in the show was the kitten eyes he had in beast mode. overall I didn't like the choices they made with beast machines such as Nightscreams emo hair black arachnia having 4 extra eyes she only uses on occassion and make her look more like a bug rat traps robot mode that looked like a video game minion along with the fact he was stuck for ages in the show because he couldn't focus or something the fact the beast machines are techno organic and more susceptible to pain than robots and more fragile. botanias design in term of transformation along with the fact they just made her as a love interest for ratrap Killing off Rhinox making silverbolt a condor and a jerk and finally the show ends with cybertron morphed into a technoorganic planet instead of being fully mechanical on the outside and organic on the inside. If it were completely mechanical it would be better protected from meteors and potentionally transform into an alternate mode for primus
oh my god what the hell is wrong with you! You've become even worst then last time's I have encountered you and other's while protecting and avenging the honor of Beast Machines and The Maximal's themself's.
Honestly i say it can still be primus' alt mode. you just can't make a good toy due to the planet probably shifting more than opening like the cybertron primus.
I was a huge Beast Wars fan as a kid. When I saw a Beast Machines toy ad, I took one look at this Cheetor and just said nope to the toyline and show afterwards. It looks ridiculous and awful.
I removed the gimmicks and did some custom work and now it looks better and is overall a better figure. The only thing I have problem is with the cheetah head during the transformation
@ZOSO900 I do stand him with the thighs out in front instead of the knees out in back, though. That puts his calf-to-toe section under his body. It also looks a lot better that way to me.
I liked the lean, smooth technorganic look they went for with Cheetor's toys. I'm just disappointed they couldn't make that look work on a toy that actually functions.
these kinds of things were made to inact scenes from toy story 1. They were made to turn us into Sid, the kid who blew up toys. Thankfully, I don't own either this or the supreme class figure, for I would probably strap bottle rockets onto them and make them go away.....Actually, it seems, according to reviews i've see, i'd be doing the world a service if i did that.
I see your points. I for one love it. I originally got it in college when Beast Machines was airing. I actually never saw Beast Wars until much later. I had seen the Beast Wars figures, and it was too organic for transformers for my taste. I am G1 kid. I found this shortly after Tankor. The first "adult collector" figure I purchased. Later on, when times were touch I gave my current girlfriends kid, all of the transformers I had (except Tankor). I never regretted giving toys to a child. But I did love all of the main line Maximals, and I really loved the Vehicons. In particular I loved this one, and Optimus Primal (yes the little blue one with the trans plastic all over) . About 2 months ago I found this figure, and the Primal for 50. a piece. Needless tosay They both have proud placed on my Beast Machines shelf. Yes the proportions and extreme. But the color choices, paint apps, use of trans plastic was amazing. And the designs were light years head of Beast Wars and G1 from a technical standpoint. This an 11 year old video. Lol. Why I am commenting. I liked it.
Just bought the lucky draw one, so I came here so I don’t screw up it’s transformation. You are making me regret the 700$ I spent on the lucky draw one lol. (Not really I’m still very stoked to have it, even if the toy is bad)
Did I just get lucky? Mine has no problem with tabs, his joints are fine, and he stands well in lots of poses for both modes, more-so robot. I do agree that his beast mode is still lanky and strange even though mine is tight and stands.
its about 70% of the way to being a good design, i like the exact sleekness, just tones down with some of the extremeness and more akin to the original
"Find something better to spend your money on....like, i dunno. Your electric bill." - That's the perfect way to end a bad review. Well done, but I suppose it just HAD to be said
Extremely good design CONCEPT. The design exectution? Bollocks. Common problem. Solution? Pay a friend to mod the shit out of it. It would be an amazing figure if they hadn't fucked it up so bad. It's sooo close to being a really quality item too, the issues with the upper body's connections would be more forgivable if it weren't for the general thinness! I enjoy all my figures, even the crap ones. (I'm looking at you Darth Vader Death Star that takes 4 hours to transform!) for the nice designs.
I owned this...thing. I remember that one needed to turn his head to the side for him to 'roar' in either mode...as if that even remotely helped this look better. Yeah, I never really ever got him to stand either. But rest assured, you are doing a necessary service warning people of how utterly awful this pathetic excuse for a toy is.
Found one complete in the thrift store I wanted to give it back instantly LOL. Everything you said is absolutely correct it's such a piece of junk. It's still in the house lol.
you do know that it is a cartoon toward kids. kids dont care for what they look like or how they are.....its a toy -__- you're a collector so just go and put it away in a case or on a shelf...that was the reason you got it anyways right? doubt you're gonna play with it like a 5 year old would
I liked the kitten eyes they give his beast mode in the show but not his locust legs. along with blackarachnia using her 4 aditional eyes only on occasion ratraps robot mode the emo hair they give nightscream designing botanica to be intoyable
I despise the look of the beast machines overall it's look like the creators went to hiking trip in Tall trees Grove California and got high defected cocaine covered mushrooms and came up with the Beast Machines characters designs as a result.
TFWiki jokes that "You will never be able to stand this. Ever."
are they wrong

The new cyberverse deluxe figure has similar swords to the original beast machines. If you don't mind the green energy armor bits.
One of the funniest "stressed" reviews. I love how both this and the Armada Optimus Prime review begin with a big sigh.
Say, *****, do you own anything related to Beast Machines? BTW, I found you on Hangouts.
There's nothing worse than this figure.
DWNUT your wrong this cheetor look's great in every way.
DWNUT obviously you never heard of supreme cheetor...
Bunny Speed clearly you have no concept of opinions.
Was chuckling and laughing on the inside all the way through. Grew up watching beast wars and beast machines , wish they would re make them all

The Beast Machines show was just a horror show with terrifying designs and pictures.
The toys do not help with your cancer after watching the show.
I hope you are well.
It looks like a skeleton. Just finished watching Beast Wars and staring to collect BW, this one is not for me.
I actually had this as a kid and loved it. :P Really shows how easy it can be to make a kid happy. XD

jojo refrerence?
I had the giant version of this guy and I really loved him. Wonder if you'll ever do a review of that one.

Hey, at least this wasn't as bad as cheetor supreme, I mean nothing could be worse than the supreme
OW!
I have headphones and squeakmires decides to show up.
You seem to be missing the two biggest toys from the beast era: Supreme Cheetor and Optimal Optimus
I was a huge Beast Wars fan as a kid.
When I saw a Beast Machines toy ad, I took one look at this Cheetor and just said nope to the toyline and show afterwards. It looks ridiculous and awful.

@DetectiveBarricade sounds like a lion transformer. did the tail become an axe-like weapon?
I have this figure. I don't even think I could give it way, even if I offered $1000 along with it.
What’s the best beast machines cheetor figure?
I'm glad I got night slash cheetos as a kid instead of this one lol
Do you have a review for the original Cheetor? I don't mean the "Fox Kids" version but the version prior to that one.
Yeah I own one of these MISB, how soon should I sell it.

When the McDonald's toy did it better.
Still a better figure than Supreme Cheetor.
Wich is not much.
fav head sculpt on any cheetor
I've seen only this figure on some pictures. But it's reputation is deserved. Who decided the design for the characters? Where they high on drugs?
few years ago got one those 4 $0.25 at yardsell
Now I really want to see him review the supreme cheetor
Why did hasbro create this spindly mess?
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$🖕
He’s actually pretty show accurate
DEAR PRIMUS ! LOOK AT THOSE MAXIMAL FACES
Mines cheetah head gets stuck when pushed down, one side sits in the same spot, one down, it basically is non transformable
i still want it, is that so wrong?
FPrimusUnicron not at all.
Man, Voyager Class figures weren't as good back then.
sooooo he's both sm?
I still don’t get why they didn’t make him in deluxe scale in this series
0:03 - "Stop sighing. Why do you do that?"
It’s a good toy! My child really likes it
The real reason why this figure is ugly is because he never looks like his show counterpart.
Which is worse universe Cheetor or beast machines Cheetor
I would imagine that whichever one stands at all is the superior figure.
Those aren't bird legs, those are grasshopper legs. Serius, why did they EVER think that was a good idea?!

Beast machines is not supposed to be in human size they are half organic and half machine that is why it is not proportioned right
looks like a Doritos brand but got sewaged then melted to this thing
I kinda like how the legs are all weird for the robot mode. Shame about *EVERYTHING ELSE.*

2 words best describe this figure god dammit
that doesnt really awnser my question sir

@TheGRIMZkid you're joking right? ....
I liked the kitten eyes they give his beast mode in the show but not his locust legs.
along with blackarachnia using her 4 aditional eyes only on occasion
ratraps robot mode
the emo hair they give nightscream
designing botanica to be intoyable
this thing kind of resembles general grievous
haha i had the ultra class one and it sucked too but i loved it
and they say universe 2.0 cheetor is meth kitty o___O
He has the transmetal 2 Cheetor head
Dude...you just ruined one of my childhood figures... :/
