I was particularly looking forward to see if you ventured into Pittwater... it truly is magnificent! I ran 33 weekend charters for my friends there, in monos and cats 33-42 feet in length (outlasted 3 owners of one charter company!), collecting crew via newsletters, charging $50 a night including food. Awesome weekends! We even sailed a 40 footer past Cottage Point Restaurant within 10 feet, and cheered on the couple having their wedding reception - they absolutely loved our "salute" The Basin (Coaster's Retreat) has to be Sydney's best kept secret... I once swam there, and had half a dozen little angel fish swimming in the lee of my hand, and I have a photo of a wallaby checking out an inflatable on the beach. Unreal, yet so close to Australia's biggest city

I agree Tony, fantastic place to visit and we regret not spending more time there. wished the weather was warmer at the time so we could have gone swimming.

Another nice video guys, even if it is a long time between drinks 😀. Can't wait for your northern videos

Thanks Greg, should have another video soon. every sail north was such a noticable change in weather. people must be getting sick of seeing us in wet weather gear and beanies.

I enjoy your videos of the Austrailian coast and really appreciate your use of maps to show where you are and where you are going. Just like explaining why you had to be hauled out it would be interesting to hear why you are going to the places you visit. You did share that there was a waterfall at one place and that was interesting. How about the others? What was the attraction for going there? Keep Adventuring.

Great vid ya'll, but is it really that cold there? lol you're wearing winter coat and hat?

Thanks for the feedback, it was still winter when we took this video and still quite cold this time of year on the NSW coast. The further north we travelled the weather improved and we are now enjoying warm weather and have packed our cold weather clothing away. cheers Dean n Fiona.

That's where I went wrong, I only used peanut butter..

I don't think there is anything wrong with using peanut butter Justin, but it is more suited to the warmer climate. We find vegemite works better as it has a lower viscosity. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
