I remember reading that hair changes every 7 years too but it never dawned on me until now that I’ve been natural for EXACTLY 7 years!!! My hair has been so dry and so rough that I’ve been spending a ton on different expensive oils and a few other things! I think the fact that my hair is 7 years old might be the reason it’s breaking like crazy!!!! Thank y’all for sharing you favorite deep conditioners that help save your hair. Both of yall look beautiful either way but the straight hair is the bomb. I love the length. There is nothing wrong with wearing your hair straight. Y’all put me on to Amika. They use to sell it at Walmart but now I can only find it at Sephora that stuff completely transformed my hair it’s thicker and my curls pop more.

Even the shea moister one they mentioned I get at Marshall's or TJ Maxx. I have been having better luck lately at TJMaxx. Buy 2 or more because they never have the same ones twice it seems.
Ik the ingredients are similar on the manuka honey and the manuka honey & yogurt. But for some reason my hair loves the yogurt one way more than the original 🙌🏾😍

Kendra, searched high and low for Amika and finally found it to try . Love Briogeo, but have never tried ApHogee. Keep hearing about it so I've just purchased that to try also.
I ordered the small samples of both the Amika and Briogeo after watching this video and I was kinda “meh” after using the Briogeo but the Amika I Loved and ended up buying the full size!! I have 4c hair and the Aphogee 2 Step and shea moisture manuka honey masque were already my jam, so I felt like even though my hair is a different from yours, some of the other products you recommended that I hadn’t heard of or used would still work and I was right. Thanks for doing these holy grail videos! I always pick up a few new recommendations that become staple products.

OfficialJaelTV I apply oil to my scalp while it is wet about once month or more. Usually right after I shampoo my hair this helps to reduce dry scalp for me. I can't get pass 2 weeks either.
I need a good deep conditioning. They always make my hair feel weighed down. I straighten my hair every week. I’ve never had heat damage. I really only go curly when I’m too tired to blow dry my hair.

I never knew Amika was sold in walmart. I always get lucky when shopping Amika at Marshalls. They have the 16oz jars for $14, so I stocked up.

With the once every 3 weeks do you guys have dry scalp? I feel like after 2 weeks my scalp is parched even if I do oil it lol
Try doing thing that nourish internally like healthy fats, avocado and salmon. Also multiple vitamins and an omega supplement.

Danyelle Jones lol yes I drink PLENTY of water and take multi vitamins I just start to see a lot of dandruff after 2 weeks I couldn’t imagine going 3 weeks without washing my hair🤷🏾♀️
I'm the same. It's normal, some people have drier scalps/produce less sebum. I try to avoid oiling my scalp because it makes it itch more often.
OfficialJaelTV I apply oil to my scalp while it is wet about once month or more. Usually right after I shampoo my hair this helps to reduce dry scalp for me. I can't get pass 2 weeks either.
