When my son was about 11 years old he entered a Jaycee Relay Race. He’d never ran track before and didn’t know everybody wore shorts. He came in jeans, to everyone’s amusement. He ran the last leg for his team - and came away the fastest runner of the day, and made up considerable distance to win. This video made me think of that day. How I wish I had been able to see it, instead of only hear and read about it. I was a single mom and had to work. My son was an amazing athlete. ❤️

Yeah, in Malawi, the head of states' motorcade has a minimum of ten vehicles. Sirens blazing and men with guns all over the place. I always wonder who would want to kill the president of Malawi anyway?

LOVE that 1960's - 1970's Rolls Royce Phantom (either a 5 or a 6), THAT'S the real traditional car for the Royal Family, Not 100% sure when this Rolls Royce was built, though, sorry.
Phantom 6 1978, silver jubilee car. It was a year late for delivery due to strikes
@@leemurdoch454 Thanks Lee and I stand fully corrected, we have three of this general style of Rolls Royce Phantoms here in Australia, I've driven one of them and believe me, for their age and size, they are very nimble and they can GO! (Only if need be, though). They're all Phantom 5's, late 1960's purchased by the government (at that time) for the Royal Family and other dignitaries to use when visiting Australia. The Car collection is open to the public in the Royal Mews. Carriages and Cars. Prince William and his bride Catherine, drove from Buckingham Palace to Clarence House in his father's Aston Martin DB6 Volante, with balloons and stuff tied to the back ...and of course the escort vehicle up the mall. The number plate reads Just Wed.

At about 0:58 note the synchronized blue flashing lights on the police motorbikes. Not good. Makes tracking them hard for observers. Far better information is given by all lights flashing in synch. We're not after a Christmas tree, but easily read, unambiguous warning indication of distance, direction and rate of movement. Random flashes destroy all three.

I agree that this is much better and more civilized than how it is done in the USA, where several intersections are blocked off, sirens are blaring and their are twice the number of armed guards in vehicles. In silence, I think there's also more security because it can move through without garnering so much attention.
