Welcome to ‘Esox Diaries’ season two, but before we begin, let us re-cap season one. In summary, last year’s Esox escapades were dominated by small fish… lots of small fish. However, as Spring approached, we eventually broke into the 20s and finally hit our target of a 25lb+ fish in March with a 26lb Menteith lump.
This season, the aim is to go one better; either in the overall number of 20lb fish, or by beating last year’s biggest, and where better a place to start, than back on the Lake of Menteith. It’s Lure day on the lake and Esox Diaries Season 2 is under way with thoughts of PBs haunting our dreams on the, so-called, Lake of Dreams.
