I stated to take my time and wanted to learn and teach others from a lot amount of TH-cam videos on everything this phone does. Now I stumbled on the cinematic mode and was soooooo confused on all the videos on DOF etc. your video right here said it clear easy and concise. Thank you so much you have a new subscribers

I feel like so many people don't know what Cinematic Mode is. Now that you see it, do you think you'll use it?

In the test video I did there were both white dots, and then there gold circles with a dot in the middle. What's the difference between the two?

@Jenn Jager Not yet. I have an iPhone 12. But the info is filed away for when I get one. I know it's something I would not have been aware of without this video. 😃

  • @7tcsails

Great video. One feature I don't understand is to how to create a "white dot" in the editing feature. What exactly are the white dots indicating? I get how you can easily delete a focus point, but I'm not clear regarding the white dots. How do you create and delete the white dots?

I’m still using an iPhone 11. Most of the recordings I do are for small scale models in motion. I have a question about cinematic mode. What is the maximum frame available in that mode?
    Thank you ahead of time.

I’m reading a lot of comments like: “I didn’t know my iPhone had that or can to that”. One question.. why the hell you buy it in the first place? Everyday I meet people who are using the iPhone for calling and texting, a picture here and there without any basic understanding or notion of photography. I got my iPhone specially because it was able to do things well. True cinematic mode was new 4 me also but I figure it out and in this video I was hoping there is more to it but not really. Please people don’t spend money on things you don’t need. It may be a “social status” where you live but believe me there are better ways to spend thy money… buying drugs for example or buckets of KFC … you name it. Is just making iPhone users look like posers and buffoons!

That’s why I buy iPhones and not Samsung. Hope Apple will start innovating again. They kinda stuck in time.
