i think it's funny in that i just got a Panasonic S5 and a Sigma 35mm 1.4 and then look at the footage from an iphone here and it's like, "well, i'm a very stupid man." i mean yeah the iphone is not a replacement for a decent full frame camera, but just watching this i'm pretty well convinced that an upgraded iphone will be happening soon. to have that kind of power/quality in ones pocket is just a bit crazy really.
I ended up selling my sony a7 ii w/ef 50mm 1.4 adapted to it and just got an iPhone 13 pro max instead with 1/2 tb storage. Tbh, the results from the iPhone get way better feedback from clients than my a7 ever did (plus it’s less work to shoot on) When google had the pixel 2 and released night mode for the first time, I knew my a7 ii would be my last full frame digital camera. Now my kit includes the iPhone and a 6x6 film camera (hassie 500c) and that’s about it

Right now if I'm shooting in HDR mode, I'm having to create an Imovie project and then export with HDR turned off. Is there an easier way that you know of?
Regarding Tip #8, would love to see a video on the best way to fix blown out HDR videos in FCP. I turned it off with my iPhone 12 Pro because it is such a hassle to fix every clip. Thanks.
@@existancel0st I really dont know exactly how to do it in FCP but in Davinci you solve it by transofrming the color space from Rec.2020 to Rec.709, cuz HDR videos use a different color space than SDR. There should be a color space transform tool inside FCP to help you with this issue.
Alternatively you can hit the lines at top , or the lighting bolt , or the f , after update if i access secret menu I’m stuck there and have to restart camera app . If I use the same settings at top it does not get stuck in cinematic mode . Very odd Thanks for the tips !!
Is anyone one else on the 13 pro max with the rack focus auto tracking in cinematic video not working? This was 80% of why I got this phone to not have to do it all in post and it's not working

what if i buy epidemic sound for a year subscription and used in 100 videos and next year i don't buy the subscription, will the sound used on those videos still be mine or they will claim copyrights on those??

on final cut there is an hdr filter that converts the image and makes the color normal

Same issue here, just shot an event with HDR. Every clip is blown out and extremely time consuming to attempt to fix. Have you found an easy fix?

In FCP, drag the HDR Tools effect over your clip, then go up to the inspector, and in HDR Tools, select the mode, “HLG to Rec. 709 SDR”.
