Today we're going anti-theft! Find a faraday bag here: amzn.to/4eW9d78 And the Autolock pedal lock here: amzn.to/4f6VL0g And disconnect your key port!!
Not really 03-06 Sedans & 03-07 Coupes didn't have a push-to-start button, they only came with a key-to-start. The last gen. G35's (the 07-08 Sedans) did came with a push-to-start. I'm not sure if those ones are getting stolen too like the G37's. Tho since they both look very similar to each other, it might be a prime target as well of getting stolen & trashed too. An Kill-switch installed is always a good idea to have, just in case things like this were to happen
They are also using your vin number to be able to bypass having the key with them and starting the car. Mine was just stolen 4 days ago and was just recovered
Ugh we’re sorry to hear that man. It was hard editing this video I was so mad as I was watching these clips We work hard for our cars for them to just be taken and abused. It’s super messed up
Park inside the garage, if you don't have access to a garage invest in an IGLA and the worst thing they can do is to break a window. I just had my 2022 Q60 stolen last month.
I just viewed my stolen g37 at the LAPD impound... front bumper missing, rear bumper and trunk painted black, sunroof broken, driver side door is sitting in the backseat, rear tires popped. The impound want 500 for them to release it when it's a stolen recovery. What type of stuff is that. That's literally parts money. Think it might not be worth it. I'm already 5k in on the car.
When we originally decided to shoot the video I wanted to do solutions that were easy to execute and raise awareness but it wasn’t until after that I decided I needed to throw in text about the kill switch during the video itself (since some thieves are programming keys in the car as they’re stealing them) We will probably do a kill switch specific video in the future as well as another trick that optionally people can do to help prevent a takeover specific break in
Good Video idea, but I was expecting a little more talk about different devices and strategies to prevent your G, Q or Z from getting stolen. I personally have a steering lock, cluctch lock, Carlock GPS, and IGLA on my G37S manual. 3 months ago they stole my G37S and was a total loss, but obviously had full coverage insurance.
Is all this antitheft stuff you have now after that theft or is that what you had when they took the car? And yeah I did realize while editing the video that there are so many more options, I did want to provide the simplest deterrents possible to anyone watching though. Some people aren't inclined enough to get to a killswitch
Cant be as bad as the mopar thefts out here, also not to mention the fact that they get broken into alot and parts get stolen, and the attention from cops and the harsh stereotypes that come with owning them.

okay so that’s why insurance on a g35 is higher than any other car! compared it to 335i, a4, s4 and it was more expensive then a bmw and audi
Yeah it's crazy but I suppose the price of insurance is offset by the reliability compared to those other cars
So can they do this too a 04 G35 ?? 🤔
Not really

super important video that more Infiniti owners/Key fob owners in general, need to see.
Agreed. It's crazy that these cars are easier to steal than a 350Z
@@BalancePointMedia Yeah they're for sure easier if the owner doesnt take any precautions.

My 370z got stolen last year. Mofos did some burn out with it and took some parts off it.

Damn man I'm sorry to hear that. I don't think I'd pay the money. I hope you had theft insurance?
That’s California for you.
Any reason you guys didn’t mention a kill switch ?

I got a OBD port lock and gps on mine

So even with the anti theft stuff u installed it still got stolen?
I have a Malbec black 90k miles I’m scared but luckily I’m in nj so don’t know if that make things better
Hopefully you're parked in a garage?
