Fiat Tipo S Design 2019 | 3 Good 3 Bad

- Sitting at the budget end of the family hatchback market, the Fiat Tipo brings a surprising sense of style in S-Design trim. Inside, questionable materials and a monotonous colour scheme spoil the party. The 1.4-litre turbocharged T-Jet engine lacks both performance and economy: we expect the Multijet diesel to be more popular. Equipment levels are good, but a lack of more modern technology makes the Tipo feel behind the times. It’s cheap to buy, but we’d be concerned about total cost of ownership: notably depreciation.

Do you have the diesel or petrol?
good review, thank you
GeoShifter glad you liked it!
I’ve had a 2019 Tipo for about five months. I have to say I agree with this review. Although I have a lower spec. The thing looks respectable but there are no thrills with the ride. I have a 1.4 petrol version...... have driven faster golf carts!
Which engine would you recommend
@@yowhaatsupget the 1.4 petrol 120bhp.

what about stability of this car?is it exellant or good or bad?
Sadly even the more known more expensive cars use a lot of plastic.
Pacifically?
Nice car but FIAT don't hold their value, better as a used buy only. I have owned four FIATs in my lifetime, had a TIPO in the 80s I really liked it back then, but looks odd now. Last car was a MAREA but had too many quality issues to mention, I'm sure quality will have improved in 20 years, but it rather destroys confidence in a brand, but its depreciation that kills FIATs for me.
Not for me as a new car but as a decent value 2 year old purchase…it’s ok.
Its a budget brand what do you expect! Try and be original at least. In the last 25 yrs I have covered 750,000 miles in about 20 different cars. REPS know more about cars than most. There will never be a substitute for experience. Keep Well.
My 2008 Bravo has automatic climate control, come on dude
