Unisex is definitely a better descriptor for the pack than what is being used in the Amazon title for this pack. There is no fashion bag features at all (like magnetic clasps) and overall the pack is very utilitarian, like a military pack.
The backpack arrives unwaxed so no the pack is not water resistant. And there is no rainflap over the main zip so waxing would be useless anyway. I carry plastic bags inside the pack to throw items into if I get caught in the rain.

There is a big sleeve inside the pack which you can briefly see at 3:47. It can easily fit my Apple 13" laptop which is 12" X 8.25" X 0.5".
