Whilst a lot of your favorite weapons will be getting a nerf, in the April update, Bad Juju and it's lightweight Pulse Rifle friends will be receiving a pretty big buff that could very well propell them to be a meta contender in PvP, following a sizeable nerf to Auto Rifles. If I was you, I'd make sure to get farming for some of those lightweight Pulse Rifles ASAP! Enjoy!

Bad juju has always been a solid pick for one thing or another.
It's a solid weapon for trials. Especially now with bubbles and wells being so powerful.
I feel like both Bad Juju and Outbreak have always been solid picks for both PvP and PvE. There’s stronger options but both are just reliable and consistent.

100% your video last week on trials guides improved me this week. I was often the best player and mainly down to you correcting my biggest mistake I make, not thinking about exit strategies and your way out (ie dodge into safety).
I died so much less and often put me into a new angle that actually got me an advantage! Thanks Jake!!
Bro same here! I went from barely winning and being the biggest blueberry to being somewhat competitive, even winning 5 straight games yesterday
I’m not sure if he’s mentioned this but another great thing to keep in mind is the 1/3 rule. Pretty sure that’s what it’s called but basically you always wanna make sure that some form of cover is on 1/3 of your screen when peaking people. Never push out in the open to get a pick. Newer players are constantly rushing out into the open and they don’t have enough time to run back to cover
@@shquankinket8068Depends what you're fighting. If Im holding an auto rifle and my opponent holds a handcannon I will not hesitate to be out in a lane if it means I get a more solid angle on a handcannon user trying to peekshoot. It's really situational, every so called 'rule' is nuanced to the enemy team/your team/weapon useage etc etc
I have a build idea for you. Try out the arc hunter with Shinobu vow and blink and for weapons bring along whatever primary you like along with a glaive. I've been using dmt with the enigma and it kinda cooks. For the enigma, I'm using impulse amplifier and unstoppable force. For the dmt, I'm using a high stability and handling roll
Oddly enough, I just decided to pull this thing outta my vault yesterday just for a change of pace. And for some reason or another, it's been smacking hard in pvp. I can only imagine how well it'll handle come April.

@@dreadpiratesnake6152Bungie overexplain stuffs that only made sense to them but not the community. I never bothered doing this week’s Trials because I got robbed of my Adept Summoner when I did everything according to what they explained about Persistence but only received the normal Summoner.
I hate getting noobs on my team
It is awful, I just play for a few wins and go play something else
Literally even 6 vs 6 put all the winners on one team, I shouldn't be forced to leave a match because my team can't share one brain amongst themselves.

IKR. its been my favorite gun since D1 and the lack of range stat makes me sad. In D1 i had it built for max range so i could actually use it in pvp, but in d2, its just not competitive enough
There are a lot of exotics in the game that I wish had more range. Prime example Revision zero completely love that gun but sometimes weapons with way less range outrange me. It just doesn't make any sense. Hopefully this auto rifle update stops the auto rifles from completely dumping on me from 50 plus meters which completely makes no sense. But overall high range archetype pulse rifles in general need more range!
@@TaureanSmokein early d1 guns actually had effective range at sensible ranges, like only scouts could map, pulses were mid-far mid range, autos were mid-close range, and hand cannons were about the same.

I played a guy named Cap on Xbox that was running a Xim and was somehow shoulder charging on Arc Warlock. It wasnt the blink or slide melee, it was a full on shoulder charge animation. He even used it to phase through a wall.

I was using BJJ for the guardian games nightfalls. It’s super nasty when paired with shards of galanor.
For some reason, every time there’s a new meta shift, the first guns I try out are the 450 pulses because I wanna live in a meta where outbreak and bad juju can really shine. And I only found bad juju losing out to prosecutors and scouts at far range but it slaps otherwise.
100% your video of the commentary card helped me improve a lot i started winning a lot of my matches , i even got super close to the light house , i was one win away
13:07 commentary cards are goated, it’s definitely helped me go flawless many times and it has helped me coach my other friends too

I'm pretty sure you only get extra super energy once string of curses is active and you get a kill. So it's not easy to pull it off in Trials.
Bad juju has always been my ol’ reliable. It’s so consistent and if you get string of curses going that thing is a MONSTER
I think thresh and attrition orbs should be 1 perk

A gun that I think a lot of people don’t like that I however love is the sweet business exotic ar. I don’t know why because it’s not great I just have fun using it, I’m also a titan main so maybe that has something to do with it!

On paper Juge is the best exotic in the game. Every so often I try to use it again but I lose every battle. It’s like the TTK is low or something

Glad I didn't listen to all the people hating on Stay Frosty 😎. One of the rolls is basically a diet Bad Juju, it has Kill Clip/Thresh. 2nd one's got Tunnel Vision/Desperado or Kill Clip, 3rd one's Moving Target/Headseeker. Can't wait to take them for a spin 🤔
God roll Battle Scar will be good with the new lightweight pulse buffs too
Trials was evil to me this week. Never got 3 wins on the persistence card. Had one and two wins numerous times, almost always 5-0 and then lose 0-5 or 1-5. Matchmaking doing its thing for me... that and I am terrible.
Bad Juju was my favorite in D1, but it feels weak in D2, especially PvE. Hopefully, this buff will make it feel better & more viable.

Had no idea they were nerfing ARs and buffing Lightweight Pulses. This may very well kill any enthusiasm I have for Crucible. I cant stand boring, long range metas. Especially annoying if lightweights take over. Flinch and such. Bleh.

called cheating.. literally blatant.. his controller sensitivity is slower than that flick 3 seconds before it when we slides and turns around.. that flick to a guy straight in the air is cheating. All streamers cheat for money.
Lol I went flawless like 13 times this reset. I go like flawless 2 or 3 times a reset everyweek . Don't know what happened to matchmaking, but I am only getting put with very good players in my team. I can hold my own. But these guys are rose ,matador sliding hunters .

No offense, juju still not good it’s just Jake. 😂 I wish it was good when it came out it was one of my favorite exotics! I have since graduated away from lightweight frames though and really don’t use them at all anymore. Technically speaking the only lightweight frame weapon I currently still use is thorn because it’s my all-time favorite exotic.
