To expand on the Lightning surge build the dev mentioned...
Lightning Surge + Echo of Leeching + Ember of Torches + Synthoceps Bond = Three melee charges plus health regen plus Radiant plus insane AoE damage. OMFG the possibilities are endless.

Tbh the ability aspect of destiny was what drove me to play the game for years. The fact that they’re dialing it up by 10 million is what is gonna make my money’s worth.
For me it’s the combo. Best memory is D1 sun singer self rezing, throwing nades everywhere, running around with invective, or thorn and bracers terrorizing people into leaving the lobby or Atheon off the map. It’s giving that vibe x10

Ok, so I’ve noticed these flying enemies, and the funny this is that they were mentioned to have existed in a pastebin leak from AGES ago (although they were also stated to have been more in line with Tormenters and Subjugators than what these look like).
I've taken a break from Destiny 2 for probably about a year, and ngl this is what's gonna bring me back. Ya boi's HYPED
I really wanted a new Darkness subclass. Prismatic has been teased from the very beginning of Destiny going back to the earliest trailer of Destiny featuring a Warlock using three different subclasses at once. The lore also hints something called Symmetry as coined by Ulan Tan. Hell, Ikora's lore says she can use multiple elements at once. It feels incomplete without a third Darkness subclass. This is like getting the 7th subclass before the 6th subclass.
Ikora could only wield multiple *Light* elements at once.
Guardians could always wield multiple light elements at once in the lore. It's the fact that they can wield both light *and* dark powers *AT THE SAME TIME* that is new.
@@voltus20 Sure, but the idea at it's core isn't new. Mixing Darkness and Light was always the endgame. That's been hinted at for years now.

It does seem like they have done some work on a third darkness subclass but I imagine making a new element is a lot more difficult than combining them so I’m guessing they still will release the new darkness subclass far down the road then maybe mix in some additional prismatic stuff with it.
Ironically enough I feel like the multi exotic class item will have a bigger impact on pvp than the subclass mix. As a warlock main, the thought of using ophidians and trans steps is just….

Just imagine, a titan with the exotic class item that has radiance dance machine's exotic perk, building up a barrier castle on the capture point like it's fortnite.

Damn, so we're getting the ability to use the powers from subclasses we already have? I'm not sure I'd define this as a separate subclass just more or less a cool feature we should be able to do after someone completes the raid. Because it's the end of light and dark saga , it'd make sense we mastered the ability to combine light and dark after world 1st raid completion. If we did get an actual 3rd separate element (Idk maybe the stuff Rhulk uses with the twisting beams or Calus with creating his spinny gun) then the raid is completed and THAT unlocks to ability to use all 3 light and 3 dark elements together, it would have been way more awesome.

Resonance is the darkness equivalent of what the Traveller shot The Witness with, it's not an element.

The build crafting in final shape is going to be so insane. I absolutely love the idea of all of these advanced combinations and fusing exotics together. And I'm really happy about these new unique enemies we're getting because I love tormentors but I feel like they, just as lucent hive were barely anywhere. Now we get a whole battlefield of tanks with insane ability combinations and amazing exotic combinations. I absolutely love all these ideas.
I remember when they wouldnt bring back twilight garrison because the dodge "wasnt part of titan identity"

@@hervisdaubeny2784 In D1 lore Warlocks taught Hunters how to blink, it was present on the original D1 Y1 Arc Hunter subclass named Bladedancer which the new TFS Arc Super is a throwback to.

Plus The Manticore SMG. Pretty soon Warlock mains’ll be playing like they’re in DMC or Bayonetta.
Minus the grapple, warlocks already have that with Nova Warp. Blink + Dark Blink = exactly that

This looks so cool I wonder what acquiring prismatic is going to be like will there be quests and training the class item grind will be so real! But I wonder if you wear the exotic class item then you don't get a regular exotic I would assume so you'll need something for every build you come up with.... They've literally quintillioned the build crafting options
The transcendence bar seems to regenerate mid-ability when getting kills. Either direct kills, ability kills, or kills against enemies debuffed. Can’t quite tell. But the regeneration was quite high. In some of the gameplay, one transcendent grenade gave back almost 1/3 of the titan’s transcendence bar.
I wonder if this was what the delay was for. No way they had this ready the whole time
They would have had this in the previous reveal. New subclass (kind of) and new faction as a surprise doesn’t seem like something they would do.

@@lordgrub12345 granted it was a combination of old abilities but I’d imagine that’s almost harder to implement. Polish seems right. Or maybe it just wasn’t fleshed out and was only used for campaign but they wanted it everywhere.

Nah makes it better in some ways, you can have some new experiences on other subclases
Those class items only work on prismatics. It less so removes identity from other classes as not every hunter can have, say, warlock-esque exotics, but makes prismatic hunters, warlocks, and titans a blend of each other. As long as the regular subclasses still have reason to exist, classes will keep their identity.
We can also get aspects from other classes

Or is Bungie FINALLY gong to just give exotics an artifice style mod slot and plot the diff?
Use the exotic class, use the slot of your everyday old exotic for artifice.
Boom, best of both worlds.
I imagine you can’t wear other another exotic with your exotic class item so just replace what would have been your exotic with artifice armor

Let's be fair. Most of these abilities are in PvP now. If you have the right perks and build, you can go Radiant or Devour on Stasis.
This just makes it easier to start and customize your personal style.
this season artifact was all about priming people for this, I 've been using thorn+necrotic with solar bow and a strand MG on Strand subclass, that's poison, wormies, ignitions, tangles, unravel everything at the same time, it's nuts on add dense GMs

Wouldnt that mean, that warlocks can get all buddies at the same time now? Just equip briarbinds with child of the old gods and shoot it at an enemy. Then switch to prismatic with the aspects arc soul and solar soul and then equip a strand weapon with hatchling and no time to explain. Or maybe you can use child of the old gods and solar soul and then just consume an arc grenade with getaway-artists. If this works it would be like a one-man army.

Being able to have both the subclass abilities of the synergistic perks on the artefact will be neat-won’t be dependent on others running the other necessary subclass. Sweet.
I wonder if the combined exotic abilities on the class item are only going to be drawn from a pool of exotics you already have?

Has anyone else pointed out that the exotic Class item perk pulls seem to be coming from all over the exotic armour pool, not limited to your current class? In the video, they're showing a Titan running perks from Ophidians and Star-Eaters.

ok but the real question is what color will executions be? will it be pink all the time? or just during trascendence? or will it be the element of whatever color of the ability they choose to be the deciding ability? or will it be whatever element you have the most of if you have more than 1 of the same element?

I tell you my Volt is gonna be stuff full of these exotic class items. As I desperately try to find one that works for me. As a warlock. Im thinking a build that uses solor granades, with needle dart melee,the arc soul healing well, with the nova warp or stasis supers. Changing that out for well of radiance when doing group runs. Also hoping i can have enough fragments for getting threadlings unraveling and tangles my class item would need to combine sun bracers with the stasis legs (i cant remember the name.) For getting more thredlings out. It would also be nice to add Devour to the mix, but i think im already hoping for too much as it is!

They mentioned how its a much more advanced subclass so im led tk believe that the other subclasses are kinda like premade options while prismatic is opening up the gates for people who want to tinker. I also assume not all abilities will be shared on prismatic
