i just got inline blades after over like 15+ years lol and I quickly realized I do not remember how to stop!! omg!! thank you for this video, out of the rest i have watched this is my favorite! I will try this tomorrow. So crazy, now that I think back I wonder how I did any of the cool tricks as a kid lmaooo challenge accepted! Also forgot what a great work out this is too, I'm excited to try this braking method tomorrow, thank you very much!

I find it very difficult to rely on the heel brake when in higher speeds or bigger slopes. It just feels unsafe / inadequate, hence I am eagerly training up other stop techniques....
I have been relying on the, "Aim for neighbor's yard and perform a high-speed, controlled crash-landing in the grass," however it's leaving ruts in their well-manicured yard (and really bad grass-stains on my jeans) so I'm going to try some other methods as I get better.

I have a very bad phobia caused by a bad fall as a kid that makes me extremely anxious to use the heel rake on my skates. I have two different sets of skates, one is a normal roller blade and the other is an inline hockey blade and i feel like theyre going to waste
There is very helpful videos on how to stop without breaks! It's so cool too, and it doesn't look to hard. :) going tomorrow to rollerskate, for the first time in about 5 years.

That happens when you do not fully stretch the braking foot to front, as well as when you don't bend your knees that much. In addition try to push/keep your knees together. 🙂✌

What if an idiot boy learns skating and goes with tooo much speed and car comes in front will this brake make him stop immediately? Or take 2 3 sec and bump in the car 😂😂? Because i am one of that i will not listen to anyone and use full speed... and gone to bump in the car 😂😂
Instead of wasting 1 minute 37 seconds, teach what you promised to reach immediately.
