SUMMER BASS ON TUBES

Fishing a Tub in the Summer can be a very effect bait for both Largemouth and Smallmouth bass. The Pelican Bass Raider and I head out to our original lake in Western Pa to toss around a Strike King Pro Model tube. My favorite color at this time of year is a Green Pumpkin with a red skirt. AKA the Bleeding Tube. Checkout the action. Fish on!

Quick question are tubes great for fishing rip rap? That's one lake/pond you can definitely count on regardless of size fish.

I would think they would be great. I do hang up over that Rockline by the barrels. Maybe rig it with a "stupid" jig to minimize those snug ups. Thanks for watching.

Do the Bass tear up the tube as often if you rig it "stupid"? Does it matter? I know rigging it "stupid" is more weed less. I am like you when it comes to fishing.... I really don't care how big or small, I just like to catch em and release em. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing. Fish On!!! (we struck out in St. George, it was too hot and the folks around weren't catching anything either.)
