I had a 86 and loved it. I had it tor a couple years and sold it. I regretted it so much that i tracked it down a bought it back. It was very fast i had it up to 150 and it was still climbing. My nephew had a 94 900rr he kept telling me how fast it was. I know him and his bike was a 100 lbs lighter than my and mine so we raced. I was about half a bike lenght ahead of him when we jumped on it. He never passed me and had another gear. He couldn't believe my old heavy bike gave him a run for his money. The worst thing about my 86 was the seat, it was not comfortable but i guess it was a track bike. I still miss it.
Dude. Excellent. Miss my '85. Many roads were shredded. Most underrated and nearly forgotten RARE Honda VF-1000R. That year, in the annual cycle mag' "superbike shootout" articles, the VF finished 3rd in the 1/4 times: so everyone bought the newly-introduced FJ Yamaha and V-Max instead. Those of us without attention-deficit disorder read the entire article and discovered the reason it finished 3rd: the PROS couldn't keep it from shredding tires through the 1/4. I embarrassed many an FJ and V-Max rider with this wonderful beast of a bike...and that GEAR WHINE! :D Great video.
What a great video. Loved it. And, by FU#K.....you can ride it better than i've ever seen a VF 1000R ridden. I loved my 1000R. Bought it almost brand new ('86 model, purchased in '88) Such a shame the engine blew itself to bits. :-( Anyway, great video.
Mmm. If the starting motor works properly, the regulator/rectifier may have been ruined. If two cylinders are cold at the time of idling, the slow jets may be clogged up. The connectors is often burnt when a bad battery can't accept an alternator output. I think that it is effective to improve the poor connectors.
It is impossible. The form of the side slit does not match. Furthermore, the fairing stay is different, too. It will be easier to change only headlight assy, I think. However, I think that the single head is good. It is lighter and is racy more.

As an owner of the 1985 version, I truly appreciate this bike. Recently saw one, in Oakwood, Ga.
Fun video! 👍👍
That was good fun. Still a gorgeous bike, and I love the sound of that Honda V4 with the geared cam drive.

Great video.
While a good bike, it wasn’t great. It was barely raced…. Most Honda teams raced the VF1000 instead.
Thanks for viewing. VF1000R is minor motorbike in Japan, but it is pretty good one, I think.
I loved mine..made it an extended drag bike..regreated it afterwords..but was an Awsome machine...keep up the vids...Ty for featuring an icon..
Sweet looking ride
You always make cool video !!!
so I respect you ;)
Really great. I have one of these bikes myself.
It's a beaut. I've never seen one in the flesh.
Its "The Bike" .........!
What a beautiful French Colours
Awesome!
Tenho saudade da arrancada desta v4,video bem produzido..!
Mmm, este V4 não é rápido, mas esta seguramente é uma coisa interessante.
I own 2 of these and you must be one hell of a rider to do the things you do in such a heavy bike
do you have any spare parts for sale?

Thank you. RSV4 is a ferocious MC, I think. So that would become a cool one if you can make it a vid.
All was awesome until the music ruined it. Why would you add music??? Awesome bike man!!!!
Cool daydream dude !
I'm buying an 84 vf 1000 tomorrow....wish me luck !

Thanks your comment.
WELL DONE ON THE OLD SCHOOL ROLLING BURN OUT .NICE 2 C IT DONE ON A 80s SUPERBIKE.
Mmm, there seem to be around 100 in Japan. If I think. Though it is an old motorbike, it's looks are good.
Honda really needs to build a modern 1000cc V4.
I mean Fireblades are nice, but what are they racing in MotoGP?

Yes, it is.
i have the 84 honda v65 sabre with the same engine sweet bike and i see you hugging those curves i cant do that on mine .....yet
Thanks your comment. sabre is a very unique model and a powerful V4, I think. It's a very rare model here. I have never seen it.
Merci beaucoup. It's surely a French national flag indeed.
Is it your own bike?
Mmm, it's to turn well.
Isn’t that the US version? Hump tank
👍👍👍👍🇩🇿
Mmm, it is surely ...

Umm. You are really VF enthusiast, aren't you?
good
面白いw
Based and redpilled
サイコー。
I love vf too. Although I didn't love it much first.
whats an appropriate value for a 85 vf1000r today?
At Mecums $10K for a good one… obviously less for well used.
You are talking about your dreambike and then you rape it with a burnout, unbelievable 😵💫
Probably it's around 3200$, I think.
There is not it particularly. though you must change the important parts later.
Togli la musica 😢

Umm, SP1 is great one. The big-twin has performance more than VF in all, I think.
