I have met Sandie a few years ago. She is lovely.
She's 27 here and looks younger than when she was 20 at the Eurovision Song Contest 😂
She was the reason I started to like pop music, when I saw the Eurovision in 1967 I was a kid ...back in Portugal anyway 35 years later I lived in Dagenham area..not far where she lived..

Interesting interview not seen Sandie Shaw's acting part she is talking about; Here is piece from Rossetti (Novel) It was early Monday morning Charlotte Street was no different from any other day, people were out and about walking in the street, carriages went to and fro, children were noisy at play some helping their mothers sweeping up leaves and rubbish off the pavements near their homes. ‘Dante what is the matter?’ asked Christina, at their home. ‘Millais, Millais is the matter. Not only is he fool enough to be having an affair with Ruskin’s wife, he is also being sued by Miss Lizzie Siddal’s father.’ ‘I am not surprised that Millais is having an affair with Mr Ruskin’s wife. After all Mr Ruskin does prefer young girls does he not?’ ‘That foolish Millais had Miss Siddal lie in a bathtub of cold water fully clothed posing as Ophelia. As a result of which she almost caught pneumonia. Now he is being sued by her father until he pays all of her doctor’s bills.’ yelled Dante.‘Dante I do believe that you are jealous are you not?’ ‘I want Miss Siddal to come and pose for me exclusively and only me. I must go to meet her this morning,’ he shrugged, leaving for his studio. ‘Dante darling; please do take care?’
