really loved the arcade games from the 80s especially the driving ones
It’s so beautiful! Only seen one of these. A high end electronics store had one. Had a chance to buy it from them but it was broken and they wanted $700.
You gotta be careful with this particular title, if the board is bad it's very hard to fix.

Very cool. I've never seen that shifter with the gun button on before. The one I played in my youth had gun buttons on the steering wheel with the nitro still on the shifter.
Mind blown. Played this in a midwest Pizza Hut for a large part of my youth. Never seen it anywhere else.

I know all leaked but I sure miss those t-tops. Sorry, you talking about the 280z reminded me of my 300z. My 280z didn't have t-tops but the 300z did. Nice machine (now talking about the game).
Yeah those were cool cars, weren't they? Mine had T-tops too but they didn't leak, never had a problem with them. they might have put some kind of different weatherstripping on it or something before I owned it... or maybe it just leaked at the door and I didn't care, LOL

I have an S.C.I. that I got working for a song. This cab does have force feedback FYI, I shut mine off by disconnecting the molex behind the wheel ha.
I used to play this at my aunts Drive-In she owned when I was a kid; had to get a cab when I started collecting.

I like the fact that they shoot the hell out of the criminals cars despite the fact that the victims are also suppossed to be on board.
That's how REAL detectives catch the baddies!
I seem to remember a two-player sit-down version of this..player 1 had the steering wheel, and both players had an Operaton Wolf-type pistol.
There was one called "Lucky & Wild" that was like that, fun game!

They must have pulled a lot of monitors out of Ms. Pac-Man games and put in other games when they broke :)

Yes! Those trucks were great, the body would rot off the frame before the drivetrain would even cough. I’m guessing yours didn’t rust because of your location, lol

yup it is but the final level is so unforgiving cause if u run out of time before u reach the warehouse its game over cant continue
Another leg acher of a game, right foot stamping on the accelerator and all your body weight on the left leg. Good game though.
Is this cab similar to chase HQ? I was thinking about making a multi can with the two if possible since I already own a working hq
Why do Chase HQ's and SCI's keep going down?
The board is a little different than some of the more popular stuff so when it breaks it's a little harder to figure out how to fix it.
so let me get this straight there is a kidnapped child in the car and you are in a high speed chase trying to run them off the road and use bazookas and stuff to stop the car. Im sure that will end well LOL

That paint fade is so odd I'm wondering whether this one never was red, as there is no red on the marquee or the lettering either. Some weird fading for everything to of gone white.
I think the ink they used just fades even if i'ts not in direct light.... They all kind of end up looking like this but this particular one was in a Gas Station... so maybe it was near the window or something :)
HI Joe, Is there a common problem at to why these boards fail ?
Not that I know of, it's probably ram or something, it's just a pretty complex board and there isn't a lot of information online about how to narrow down the troubleshooting.... so the only people that can routinely fix them are people who are very good at understanding software/hardware design and those people make so much money they're not going to take the time to even look @ an arcade board worth $100 bucks.
