Hey there, this is Adam with VNSH I'm the designer of the VNSH holster and I'm here to react to Anthony's video that just came out on TH-cam not too long ago. Now i'm not mad at all that Anthony made that video. In fact, I think it's a great thing for us as well as our customers because all it's going to do is force us to make a better product and I actually believe this is an awesome product. Like if you were to look at his review and then have to look at some of the reviews on our website you're going to see that we have a four point three star rating with more than eleven hundred reviews as of today where people absolutely love this holster and they didn't have the same issues that Anthony had but he still brings up some really good points. So we want to address that we want to talk about what he came up with as concerns and how we are going to work on that and actually what we've already done to mitigate a lot of the different things that he's talked about so currently we have in production a couple of different things to help make that holster or this holster better. So his discussion about the thumb strap right here. Where this particular scene is hanging up when people
go to do the thumb break. That's a super simple solution for us i know that sounds kind of. Obvious but like all we need to do and all we are doing in the factory is just flipping it around said this little scene. Goes on the inside so now that loop is going to be on. This part of the pistol grip so no longer is that going to be an issue problem solved so I wanted to mention that. The other thing that he mentioned that is not so simple is that we should flip the velcro. Now and then he did mention that he is at the very end of the belt so here's what he means by that. When he goes all the way here. Fears at the very end of the forty eight inches of the belts of all of this hook side velcro is rubbing up against the skin. So the first thing I want you to know is we have an extender on our site that adds an additional twenty inches to the belt so no longer is that an issue...
Hey Adam. Thanks for the reply. I love the reply and transparency and I sincerely wish you every success. I believe we would both agree the world is a better and safer place when responsible gun owners carry! My previous review wasn't a knock on VNSH and I look forward to seeing the new version with improvements released. I'll also affirm what Adam said in his response- their customer service and response was top shelf. I would have no reservation recommending this company- and ESPECIALLY after the enhancements are made.

There enhancements are paramount. If you can show the "New & improved version and a way that the re-design can be purchased, I'd be down. I don't want the original shipped for all the reasons in Anthony's video. Let me know when it's ready
I just gotta say. I LOVE the response to this. This is the transparency America is lacking across all businesses. I never thought I would see a response to a review in the manner such as this. While I am not a 48+ size I am 42, my kids and especially my son will love to just grab something at my waist and its a fear of mine. I must wait until the 2.0 drops and bet I will be all over it.
I don't carry the smaller size. It's a Sig Saur P226
More companies need leadership like this.
However, instead of taking one on the chin and potentially harming the company's rep, Adam should have expanded his R&D to include many different pistols and sizes of individuals in hopes to weed out issues BEFORE product release. Great Adam, keep us in the loop regarding product improvement updates!

Make sure you do fix all the issues he mentioned and the kydex trigger guard is a good idea. The improvement will be a plus to have your product sold off the shelf

Idea.. for the Velcro that is exposed you can have another piece that people can cut to size to cover the hooks. Easy fix:)

I saw your video first and then watched Anthony's video. I was not aware of your company or product until your video appeared in my feed and I am impressed with your response. I am interested in your product but I want to wait until version 2 comes out for obvious reasons. I think it'd be great to have one holster that can handle my 3 carry guns as well as the freedom it offers in my choice of clothing for any given day. I will keep checking back to look for version 2 and am looking forward to giving it a try.

I just got my CPL and I'm looking for the perfect comfortable way to carry. Loved this reply. Individuals have different viewpoints and when you think you put something good out to the public, you will almost always get something back that you didn't think of at the factory.I love that VNSH considered and acted on Anthony's feedback. Good for you. Not only responding to a customer’s issues but quickly making changes. I know it is tough to design a holster for many different types of handgun. I’m encouraged that you are including some KYDEX type material in the holster area. Personally, I don’t use holsters that are not rigid around the frame/trigger area. I do like the wider and softer band material and hope you expand your product line to either include formed holsters. If you removed the holster completely and add loops on the inside to attach IWB holster from other manufacturers. That product I would absolutely purchase! Would you consider a “special order” one? I’m a Paramedic and I live in a coastal area where shorts are worn 9 months a year. I look forward to your product updates and improvements.

I will make the argument regarding the thumbstrap even though I completely understand (and agree to a point) Anthony's point of view. I actually thought that lip in question was a designed protection against unintentional release of the thumbstrap, from one's self or others. Depending on the level of activity, ranges of motion or even other articles of clothing could catch of the strap release without the wearer knowing. This potentially allows the pistol the ability to work it's way out of the holster or if a 3rd party noticed your printing and tried to get control of it or if there was a struggle, the attacker would not have the muscle memory to quickly and effectively release it because of that lip. Again it just boils down to training your body with your equipment so that it's second nature even with adrenaline involved. Would it be possible to make that an option as either a reversible or replaceable option for those customers who like the added protection?

Own this holster, I'm a post (2) Spine Surgery. 2003, while on vacation, I had a spinal cord injury. Changed my whole life, yes I can walk have 💯 % mobility. One section of the lower spine, bout 6" of it Titinam. Healed 100% lost 40% strength and mobility.
Pre Injury, it led me down an endless road of one disappointment after another. Untill one evening I saw this commercial. It solved (2) issues, distribution of weight,comfort & above all else

" lokation" adjust for comfort don on your favorite sports shits. & and 👍 to go, also. May I suggest I tension summer short sleeve. T/S FIRST, add holster ( NO velcro rub. If you need the extra belt. I'm buying and added support for my Spine. I'm a former ultra athlete in my 20'2 & 30s, doing the Ironman Competition series. Finished them all! Body mechanics have a lot to do with everything we do. Stay in motion & your body will never fail you. Took 15 years. To learn how to walk through the pain. This holster made everything possible again!

I saw the advertisement for this holster and then looked for reviews. I immediately found Anthony's review and found it very enlightening. I then found Adams response (this video) and it was then that I knew I needed one of these holsters. I have full confidence that VNSH will send me a quality, safe product and that if I'm not happy with it, I can send it back without fear of loosing my money. I'm not really worried about that though because I can tell from this video that VNSH has listened to the issues and is making the necessary changes. Congrats on a great product and I can't wait to get mine.

Ok - This is the type of leadership and company I want to do business with. I just watched Anthony's review of which many parts I agreed with. Great thing is that you responded to his concerns and he went ahead and linked this response from Adam with VNSH to his review. WELL DONE!!! We need more companies to be like Adam/VNSH and recognize there may be better options and often you don't know until you hear from your customers, as everyone has a unique body and different opinions especially with something so personal.
Watching indie reviews because this belt is not cheap, even with the deals. Even though Anthony’s concerns already weren’t deal breakers for me this response sold me.

Other businesses need to take a master class from this company and video/response to a customer's concerns. THIS is what breeds customer loyalty, and thus volume, return and referral business - a company who not only hears their customers but actually LISTENS to them and then responds not with gaslighting or diversion but by directly addressing each concern - with valid reason for design or a plan to evolve the product.

First off, It is refreshing to hear a manufacturer listening to feedback and not being offended about a product!!!
I have no idea if I can verbally get my suggestion across, but here goes.
My problem with EVERY belly band style holster is... I can never get the two loose ends of the belt to be adjusted at the proper (comfortable) size. I'm also a bigger guy (46" waist), and securing the two loose ends of a belly band is always the worst part. I end up guessing at the size I need, securing the velcro, and then stepping into and pulling up the belly band like a pair of pants.
My suggestion is to make the belt go through the end of the other (end) side of the belt and then go back in the direction that the belt was coming from. Hence, enabling the wearer to snug up the fit, then secure the strap (lose end) to itself. You could use one hand to snug up and secure the band to your waist. This would only make the need for the hook material a very small section on the end of the belt because the belly band length would self-adjust as the wearer pulled back (sinched up) the fit.
This candid responce just got you another customer and follower. I look forward to version two of this Holster trigger protection. Keep leading by example and grow the buessness.
I have no problems with my VNSH holster. I’ve been carrying for 2 decades and this is the best holster I’ve owned to date.

I was thinking about this holster, watched Anthony's review, and watched this reply. I have decided to buy this product because of this video and the way the company seems to handle things.
Excellent response! Please design the Kydex/Boltaron trigger guard insert to cover the pistol from intrusion from _all_ angles, including the body side. For instance, in a car accident, all types of things can go airborne, get twisted, impaled, etc. - so the trigger must be solidly protected from all angles.
Please also think of a way to offer this with WMLs. Perhaps you could offer a selection of pistol + WML for customers ordering. Further, WML holsters principally secure the platform around the WML; this may help you accomplish pistol-fit universality as well as accommodating WMLs for us picky customers.
Additionally, most concealed carriers do not use, nor will they consider using, a retention strap. Please design the plastic insert so that it retain the firearm and can withstand a shaking-the-daylights-out-of-the-holster test. I assume we could simply opt to cut off the strap.
Lastly, inward cant. Please consider placing soft loop on the body side of the pistol pouch area so that wedges can be applied to customize inward rotation.
Thank you for taking responsibility and for producing a product that seems very promising.
While my points may seem demanding, if you can accomplish a design incorporating all of the above, you’d have a real winner, especially given your material’s level of comfort.

@@vnshholsters I got a chance to use the holster and can say I really really like it. It was comfortable, but more importantly I could carry in shorts I couldn't carry a gun in before. It really is a game changer. The thumb break wasn't an issue for me, but the fix would be nice. The trigger protection was good for the G19 I had in there. Really happy I found VNSH and look forward to seeing updates.
As summer approaches I have been looking at your holster. Anthony's review was good and I decided to pass on your product, the Thumb Break was the factor. So, here is the thing. Outstanding leadership my friend. If this is fixed, you have a customer. Impressed with you standing behind your product which means taking customer concerns of comfort, paramount. It can't be the most comfortable holster, if it is not. The Velcro on the skin is unacceptable in my option. Because the "comfort" is only for a certain size range in the size range you offer. Spending money for the extension when you are not the size to "need" it per your product advertisement, I don't see as a fair remedy. However, I am interested in seeing what you have done. Wouldn't it be as simple as sending with all holsters, a piece of cloth with Velcro on one side and that comfortable spandex material you talk about on the other, covering up the Velcro. That would cover all sizes. Done. Just for those who might need it, seems like a fairly inexpensive fix. So, if this holster is half off at $80, I too would expect there to be fewer flaws in manufacturing that was pointed out. So, I intended to inform you of an excellent product that could possibly change how we carry and like I said, if you have a remedy and I like it. Word of mouth is everything. Lets see brother. I am excited to see what comes. And you already fixed the safety issue. Outstanding dude.! Thanks for your 2nd amendment support brother. Under God.

I really want to try your product, but i carry an fk brno psd with a light and a holosun red dot on it. I can live without the light if it means fitting in the holster, but im not willing to give up the red dot as the benefits gained from much faster target acquisition are too good to pass up. If you can address the trigger concern and make it just abit bigger to fit my gun then id be glad to purchase your product. Right now i have a custom kydex IWB holster for it and it works well, but printing is an issue (im not a big guy and have to wear bigger tshirts haha) and something abit more comfortable in this Texas summer heat would be nice.
Keep up the transparency! I really want to give my money to a company that demonstrates such great integrity and American values!

I just ordered one of these holster 3 days ago, this video I ran across tonight. I am a little concerned, however I am going to put aside all of the issues that Anthony brought to attention. I am absolutely impressed that you went onto TH-cam with a response and that you are taking steps to correct these issues, KUDOS I wish everyone else that sold products were as transparent and honest as you were. I am now assured that if I have an issue I can return my holster without the fear of being ripped off. Thank you
