I used this video tonight to switch out the hid ballast on my is300 sportcross. it was a pain in the butt , took me 3 hours. but i did and the headlight works thanks to to you and this video.
This is exactly what I needed to see! I'll be replacing my turn signal bulbs soon and I was worried that removing the bumper was going to be a much bigger pain in the ass.
Very helpful video. My driver headlight just went out and my oven mitt hands for sure won't fir in that small space hahaha. Thank you for uploading this.

at 10:21 what did you do to continue tightening the bumper to get rid of the gap? i noticed in the video it cut off and transitioned immediately to where you already tightened it and that’s the exact issue i’m having is trying to get that section lined up haha. thanks!
Good vid. I know my ballast is bad. I moved the in non working light to the working one and the bulb fires. Then then bulb in the working light the non working light, bulb does not fire. I wish you would have showed the ballast. I'm concerned that the ballast is in light housing and not as simple as being outside of it.

Quick question I'm going to install a new bumper for my IS 300.... The new one is already painted and on the driver side there seems to be a bracket that holds the bumper it broke off ... Do you know where I can get one??? To replace broken one ....
My Parking Sensor fell out & inside the car I was wondering if you have to take the bumper off to put it back in or just unscrew from the bottom & stick your hand in to reatach to the bumper
+ZFlyingVLover Nevermind. Theres a 10mm screw on the back of the lens that you can turn to move the inside of the lens forward and back so that you can pull out or put in the ballast connector.
I had a HID bulb go bad in mine (started turning purple and then finally went). I didn't have to take off the bumper but it was a pain in the ass. Sometimes I wish I had small chinese hands lol
LMAO. I'm korean, and i can change the bulbs without taking the headlight/bumper off. thank god im asian. but my ballast went out :( so i have to take them out anyway.....

Yes, I made sure to tighten ALL of the fasteners as tightly as possible

If you can remove the bumper cover and fender wells without having to remove the bumper you should be okay

I didn't have to remove the lens. I just unscrewed the bulb then the harness

Behind the headlights but underneath after you loosen or remove the bumper cover.

No more than an hour if you have the right tools. If you have power tools, even faster
