And another fact: the Excalibur ship was able to smash this monster with its main weapon, although the Excalibur only 2000 meters.
One of my least favoured designs in the show. Remember the Liberator from Blake's 7? That looked cool, the Excalibur, not so much.
@@SpacialKatana Excalibur looks like jaffa lance from Stargate with additional things. At least that`s how I see it

its canonically 3000 aparently... but no matter.. the Victory class used a Vorlon based main weapon wich packs a hell of punch.. probably could devastate half a continent in one shot a 60km ship is not that far feetched
Beside The Shadows/Vorlon The Drakh are My Best B5 Villains...
B5 should be remastered and all the space scenes & battles remade in 4k (extend the battles scenes). You'd be the perfect person for that job!

Something that always bothered me about the Drakh fleet, where tmdid they keep their ships those things are too large to be stationed on a planet and none of their ships seem capable of atmospheric flight. Also why were their main weapons so weak and we're there any female Drakh. Who were the other races that escaped Za'Ha'Dum, some of the books mentioned the Streib and two others.
It's a shame for the Centauri, had they known anything about the Drackh, they would have been able to destroy the vessels leaving the Shadow homeworld, but Mr Morden didn't give a snippet of it.

@@tonyhoban6600 I really would loved JMS to tell that part of the story (the final stages of the Drakh war and the their fall and the retake of the Centauri Republic) instead of more and more pointless standalone stories.. specially now that they finally acepted using animation and voice recasting wich could allow them to use virtually ALL the characters (like they are doing in the road back home)
@@sparrowlt Not really a fan of the animation to be honest but something new and different would be great. He should continue the story after the war. More leftover tech. Crusade was kind of getting there but they got cut off before they could get going.

It is canon, just never shown. I doubt it was modeled at the time.
It was shown from various angles in Crusade, but it's exact size and shape was kinda nebulous. But they would have to be HUGE to blot out the stars the way the escaping "blobs" did, before Za'Ha'Dum exploded.
@@ktt9139 Crusade was shit on all levels, I didn't watch it all. I'm old and don't recall it being in A Call To Arms, but I changed the description, because it was not in the original series. Cheers guys.
@@ktt9139 I don't think it was in Call to Arms. But it was in the series/season finale of Crusade.
I'm afraid something that big and lazy, if it some how tumbled down the Earth like an asteroid, it will cause the whole Earth's atmosphere to be on fire.

The model doesn't really convey it's size unfortunately.
Only b/c I rendered it on it's own this time. Future vids may well do just that. The point of this video was to honour its original creator and the modeler.
@@SpacialKatana Oh I wasn't criticizing your work! The scale wasn't conveyed in the original show either.
The texture is too 'big' for what is supposed to be a vast ship.
The original B5 model conveys a sense of scale because of the incredible texture work; this looks like something that was generated quickly in PhotoShop using a Perlin noise filter (which given the time constraints of a the TV schedule, it probably was).
Damn this thing is huge . Isnt this the ship that Dalenn smoked in Season 4/5 or was that a lighter ship ?
She smoked a cruiser, a lot smaller.
