Thanks for sharing your success story. Did you write IELTS and which one did you write (IELTS ukvi or the standard IELTS) and which module (general or Academic)
You need UKVI for visa. It doesn't matter if it is general or academic, as long it's UKVI. If you are going as a registered nurse though you need the Academic UKVI for both NMC and visa application.

Either of the two will do, and you can target band score (4.5). that's the lowest limit

I got to the UK 2 months after my offer letter.

What if I intern for one month in a home care giving set up can one still get employed? Do they provide accommodation during the first month before find a flat to rent?
It depends on the requirement of the employer. They also usually get you an accomodation before arrival
Which certificates did u get for the month? Is care certificate one of them? And how did u present ur cv that u shifting to a different career altogether?
Care certificate is the major thing he used.
Watch videos on how to create a standard UK CV, that won’t be a problem

Myself I'm a nurse assistant and i got my diploma wit working experience and i applied since February and i was ask to provide IELTS for UKVI which i have done and no response yet , then i applied for care assistant they said i shld provide an English test which i uploaded IELTS for ukvi and they began telling me that they need but SELT and not IELTS are they kidding and they also need a care certificate which is obtain only for few months does it mean my diploma is not needed i don't get it a trained nurse as i am
You need UK care certificates to support your application. Don’t just apply to one employer and stop. You should join the bootcamp starting on Friday. Link is in description box and my latest community post. 👍

Can one use NARIC for applying for health care assistant job, or must I write IELTS.
You can use NARIC to verify your academic certificate and if accepted, you won’t need ielts

Yeah they booked accomodation for him (free for a month I think) and paid for COS. He footed the rest of the bills

It has been available. Some of us have heard the info since Jan 2021 but it didn’t become very public until this year

Hello, please did you attach any other qualification apart from care certificates for visa application? like your bsc in engineering?
You don't need to attach any care course certificate for visa application.
After you're successful with your interview and you have your offer letter and Cos too, the next stage is your visa application.
For this stage, you only need TB test certificate, police clearance, and your IELTS result/certificate or any English language proficiency certificate.

If he wasn’t offered COS, he won’t be in the UK as a senior carer. The money mentioned wasn’t for COS… it was the overall money he spent in the process.
