Hi Ola, I am working as a Dom care worker, that means I'd be moving from one house to another to give care. After my offer letter, I got a checklist of what I'm to submit. They include reference letter, Police report, TB test certificate, IELTS result certificate, Care certificate, proof of address etc. At a point, I submitted my waec result but I didn't know when and where they used it. My Engineering certificate was ghosted☺️ It differs from one employer to the other. I think a video has been made about that, please check it out.

I only have offer letter no contract yet, she said b4 end of this week.I did send my ielts and Waec results, about to do tb and police clearance this week but according to the HR lady they already put in for my COS even though she hasn't asked for my refrences, she said we will get to that, I guess different procedures for different organisations.
Can you also please clarify if your designation says Senior Carer or Healthcare Assistant since I have been hearing they differ. How did you get your IELTS results to your employer? I'm asking all these cos I'm currently waiting for offer letter and I'm trying to prepare ahead so your responses will help a great deal. thank you 😊
Hello I'm working as a senior carer, I can also be called a care assistant. I don't know the difference between them but I think it should be close. About IELTS, if you're to get anything to your employer you can always mail a scanned copy to them. I hope I answered you well, if not do not hesitate to ask more 🙏

Now as Domiciliary Carer would I be allowed to work as a Healthcare assistant after sometime if I no longer want to work as a Domiciliary worker? This is because I desire to be a Nurse and I am looking for the best way possible to make it happen since my first degree is not in anyway related to Health.
