Awo Maame, thanks so much this. I've written ielts 3 times and always getting 6 in reading. So I made up my mind to come as a senior carer and later see how best I can continue to complete my NMC UK registration but looks like almost everybody is against it. At first I was disturbed however I have finally made up my mind and ignoring what others are saying. Medaase Odo.

In UK dependants are your spouse and children or legally adopted children. Once u get to UK, u can always invite your parents
You cannot take your parents with you to live in the UK. They can visit you for 6 months in a visiting visa only....

Definitely, u can start preparing for ur English exams. U don't need to wait at all. You can always get study materials online. What kind of job do u hope to apply for in NHS?

If you manage to get your IELTS, CBT and NMC registration sorted, they'll be more than happy to offer u a band 5 position cuz they're always in need of nurses 😀
