More money than brains purchases. 12-pounds savings off hood & 10-pounds off decklid is 24-pounds. Basically, removing backseats or passenger seat will save equal weight without spending $4000-$5000
Okay but think about it. Removing the backseats and swapping the hood/trunk is almost 60 pounds. Now imagine the difference if the passenger seat was put too. Almost 110 pounds. They’re getting paid to do this. The car is a test dummy for these parts…
