I'm glad CSX is doing this, as it is a nice gesture and after yrs. of saying no to heritage units and just applying vinyl stickers to some units and now this train, debuting this yr. one has to wonder what surprise will be next from CSX? Finally, admitting E. Hunter's PSR is a disastrous and costly mistake and ending PSR implementation.........one CAN hope!!!!!!
Many heads ups on Facebook and my personal contacts. We only knew about it 19 hours beforehand, so not a lot of time to plan spots. Next time i’ll be further south for it, and chase north. As far as it being a one time thing, it sounds like it’ll tour the system every year like CPKC’s. i will update this comment if that changes.
