Hey 👋🏼 my parents defo helped with technical (mainly electric and plumbing) advice but the project was 100% built and funded by myself and my partner. Young people are capable of all sorts when they’re not commenting on other people’s lives on the internet dude.
Love the design! About the bed building process: To be fair you need to add the time for sheets/topper and blanket in the evening / morning. 🤫 All in all: great! - Only one problem for me: The steering wheel is on the wrong side. 🥲. Best from Germany!
USA here .... Awesome, awesome build. I love the placement of the "wetroom". I too do not like the idea of the electricity near my sleeping area. Totally jelly ...... Much Peace/Love to y'all. Stay safe....🩵💚💛🧡❤️💜
Congratulations for all the hard work. i am thinking for camping and this idea excites me a lot, only thing i am wondering how you guys or any other campers solves the toilet issues
Ive spent an age debating on bed types as im 6'4 and cant fit widthways but what puts me off of a sliding bed is although it only takes a few seconds to open it, you then have to make the bed. Put the sheet on, store the quilt somewhere which takes more space, pillows etc. So a sliding bed isnt for me. Its all personal i suppose and if it works for you thats all that matters. Great looking conversion though 👍
Hi there wandering blue, I didn't catch how you heated the van. With winter coming, that's going to be important. Brilliant build though, well done. Kaye
What a fantastic van. One of the best I have ever seen and I have watched a lot. May I ask and sorry if you have already said in previous videos but did you build yourself and if so how much was the whole project??? Many thanks & happy travels.
Thanks very much @jonathanmchugh5978, really glad you like it. I'm honestly not 100% sure how much the whole process cost but I think it was something like £6-7k
Fantastic video and conversion, fascinating insight, the electrics are a big interest to me as I sell these parts for a living, is the inverter a modified or pure sign wave? Ps ignore the jealous idiot from you’re comments, it’s all a huge credit to you
15 secs to make the bed isn't realistic because you still have to out the sheets, duvet, pillows etc on. up to you of course but i'd prefer a permanent bed
15 sec bed without putting on/taking of blankets, duvet, and storing pillows… plus: it’s not a real mattress, a couple “sleeping” together 😇 will fall in the holes between those parts… And also: bed in that position blocks the passage… bad layout imho.
congrats to your parents for the van

Really great looking van, love how you planned/designed it specifically for your needs. The electric ‘bit’ of van conversions blows my mind.

Wow, amazing , your one clever person, well done , resin. Be nice on the work top
Thanks very much! The gaps are filled with epoxy and it's all sealed in with worktop oil :)
Great job. You never went into the cost though....?
Get back to us in a few years about the experience of doing the bed two times a day!
Will do! 😂
Great ideas!
Great job!

That's the beauty of there being so many options out there! Enjoy your conversion
Elevator/lift bed
Congrats! I like how open the space is. I'd be interested to know what you would do differently if you could do it over again
Fantastic van well done

Hey, thanks so much for the content! what year was the van? And how much did you end up selling for? Could really do with hiring you for our build!
Cool van 😎
Thank you!

What insulation did you go for. There’s so much head room in your van and I’m looking to get one
Very nice ❤
Love the van very unique setup! Random one, but does it have factory fitted a/c in the cab?
It does!
Well done it suits you so ignore the neg comment think its fantastic you should be really proud .Enjoy ❤
Thank you!
Not having a fixed bed makes so much sense
What transit model is this?
Hi @1disturbedjunglist, it's a Transit 350 MK8 H3 L3
how much did it all cost?
Including the van i think I'm up to about 17-18k. Electrics alone were 2.5k!
Love it 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Would you recommend this layout for fulltime vanlife?
If I was living in the van full time, I’d go with a fixed bed 👍🏼
No toilet ?
Not a permenant one, no.
Just subscribed too 👍🏼

Muito lindo parabéns.
Obrigado ❤️
great van but wouldve loved a shower in it that would be the complete van

True! The extra room is worth it for us but everyone is different

Valid points but this works perfectly for what we need it for dude. Would love to see your setup! ❤️
