✍️Who am I?
I'm Daiki, originally from Kyoto, Japan. I moved to Finland for my masters degree in business in 2016 and now I'm working in the capital area, Helsinki. Through this channel I'm hoping to share my experience in Finland and sometimes abroad, including culture, career, lifestyle and travel diaries.

Helsinki is a lovely city. Very beautiful but winters very tough
As a former Environmet and Energy Engineer student, we visited that plant too, it produces a lot of far heat, which is common method of heating the houses, and that plant took 500k to 1 million peoples trashes and produced 40% of heat that City of Vantaa needs. Nowadays we don't have landfills anymore usually because all the trash is burned in 5 facilities around Finland.
Helsinki is an amazing city. Only Stockholm and Oslo can be compared.

What a lovely weekend you had!
I love weekend days when it’s raining cats and dogs. Those are the only days that I feel that I ”can” just stay in bed the whole day if I want to. Otherwise I feel that the whole day is wasted if I don’t get out and have something to do 😳. I should book myself few staycations at home, I think.
