East Helsinki has a lot nice places near nature, for example Laajasalo would be nice since they're building the tram bridge in Kruunuvuorenranta to connect to center . If you don't mind the commute, then northern parts of Vantaa and Tuusula are nice if you are looking to buy a house, and if you really like peace and quiet and have a car then Sipoo or even Porvoo is an option .
That music in the backround in Habitare section sounded little bit like in old Super Nintendo/Famicom game Chrono Trigger. One of my favourite RPG console game. I don´t know have you visited Porvoo. I´ve been there couple of times and it seems nice little city. Living cost there is way cheaper than in Helsinki area.
I think they don't exactly celebrate the end of the summer. They celebrate end of the summer cottage season. I see it in a way of celebrating all the fun in the summer cottage they had in that year and it being like the last hurrah before getting back to full time city life or full time every day life which ever way one lives it 😃
