A very good description of Latie most days, but you can tell she is thinking about the holidays. I think most would agree as a maker it IS a very exciting to be creating. It does seem to give you an extra boost!
Here is what I discovered about loading the piping bag. I am in the soap frosting club by the way. Have your piping tip and bag ready to go. Lay out a piece of plastic wrap on the counter and spoon your soap frosting on it in the middle - kinda like a log. You can layer colors or keep it all the same it's up to you. Fold the plastic wrap over the soap frosting on both sides and twist the ends. Next take scissors and cut the bottom end of the plastic wrap. You should be able to wiggle the frosting into the piping bag - at least the end of it and then pick it up to drop the whole thing in. Go ahead and pipe your soap loaves. If you need to refill just pull out the plastic wrap and toss it before reloading with another. It saves time, and saves on cleanup because the piping bag should only get messy on the end!
This is exactly how I did buttercream when I was using reusable piping bags! I switched to plastic ones recently cause it is so nice to just wash the tips lol
This is a great tip! I put my piping bags into a quart size deli container, like you get soup in, and fold the edges over the sides. Makes it super easy to fill!

Very good tip! Glad you told everyone! That is how I've handled my frosting for probably 7-8.years. I can't remember which channel I first saw that or I'd give them credit! It is an easier clean up and when using 2 or more colors it comes out an even amount. ❤️ that you mentioned this!
I usually only want to eat the soap frosting a little bit when I see you pipe it, but man did the frosting on these ones look real and delicious! I love watching you make these forbidden snacks.

wow! That is awesome. I have a son who's Autistic. We decorate ours three days after Thanksgiving. My son knows... he goes to where we keep the ornaments for the tree and he gets the star. He does it right after supper, lol! It's a timed moment! He waits untill his Dad finishes eating. He's done it for years ( he's 18) it's so amazing! You'd think he'd not worry so much. A few days before Thanksgiving he also writes his letter to Santa. ( Yes, he very much still believes!!!)Which we do while drinking hot chocolate. What I really find amazing because Noone reminds him it's coming up. It's like a internal time clock You might be think ito yourself that it's the Turkey that triggers his thoughts of Christmas. That's nor it because we eat turkey a few times throughout the year! He's an amazing kid!

That’s is so cute! I’ll be ordering a kit for my grandchildren that live in Ft. Knox Kentucky. My daughter is an Army girl and the kids love making soap while they are here with me so I’m going to order a kit and have it mailed to their home. These came out adorable. Melt & Pour was so stress-inducing with the hurry-up! Wait! Hurry Up & Wait lol. I remember when I got your kit when you were pregnant with your daughter and it was sold through Nurture. I still have cupcakes left ( hated selling, only donated) I have a cupcake bottom at my bathroom sink and I use the top ( cut in half) to shave my legs. The frosting recipe has a super creamy gentle cleanse. Still not sold on the stabilizer though. I know it is safe but it worries me. I would rather go with brown

The Santa cupcakes made my heart give a pang to no longer live anywhere with snow (those ones were my favorite of the three, really cute!). And with it still getting up into the 80's in my state, it doesn't even feel like fall. Unless winter gives a mighty heave-ho around January or February, my state probably won't see any snow this year. Most years, it doesn't, but I love the few where we get a little dusting or at least I can watch the flurries fall, even if they melt right when they hit the ground.

Since fragrances with Vanilla make colors darker, did you necessarily need to use the stabilizer on the gingerbread? Or does it do other weird things to the soap that you want to avoid? That could be an interesting series, actually, "All The Ways Soap Can Go Wrong...and how to Work Around It".

I’m actually very happy to hear the soaps are gluten free; my husband is celiac and also allergic to certain soaps so we gotta be careful so I tend to avoid handmade soaps. But hearing that makes me feel better and hopeful that I can make some melt and pours

Hey Katie, can you guys pleeease put something on your website telling us the strength of the fragrance in the soaps? I ordered a couple of soaps recently (apple cider and blue raspberry) and I'm a little disappointed the apple cider isn't very strong. Everything about the soaps is fantastic by the way and I will always be a repeat customer, I just want powerful smelling soaps lol. Like the grape scented one from last year I think it was, was stronger smelling than my air freshener and I freaking loved it!! Thank you always, love your videos!

These are so adorable. It's a shame that food imitation products are banned in the UK. Though you can buy some in some big stores. I'm looking to get my soaps CSRP done (chemical testing) eventually when I've moved into my new workshop. What package is the best to go with?. Ok, I went to look for the kit and it’s not an actual kit. You have to purchase all of the ingredients separately. I also looked to see if they recommended a piping bag or rips and I didn’t see where they included that in the things to buy or things you need on hand. Maybe I over looked it? They are super cute but it’s not a lot I can just mail over to my grandkids.

These came out adorable. Melt & Pour was so stress-inducing with the hurry-up! Wait! Hurry Up & Wait lol. I remember when I got your kit when you were pregnant with your daughter and it was sold through Nurture. I still have cupcakes left ( hated selling, only donated) I have a cupcake bottom at my bathroom sink and I use the top ( cut in half) to shave my legs. The frosting recipe has a super creamy gentle cleanse. Still not sold on the stabilizer though. I know it is safe but it worries me. I would rather go with brown

The Santa cupcakes made my heart give a pang to no longer live anywhere with snow (those ones were my favorite of the three, really cute!). And with it still getting up into the 80's in my state, it doesn't even feel like fall. Unless winter gives a mighty heave-ho around January or February, my state probably won't see any snow this year. Most years, it doesn't, but I love the few where we get a little dusting or at least I can watch the flurries fall, even if they melt right when they hit the ground.

Since fragrances with Vanilla make colors darker, did you necessarily need to use the stabilizer on the gingerbread? Or does it do other weird things to the soap that you want to avoid? That could be an interesting series, actually, "All The Ways Soap Can Go Wrong...and how to Work Around It".

I’m actually very happy to hear the soaps are gluten free; my husband is celiac and also allergic to certain soaps so we gotta be careful so I tend to avoid handmade soaps. But hearing that makes me feel better and hopeful that I can make some melt and pours
You have misunderstood what Celiac is. Unless your husband is eating soap, soaps containing gluten are safe to use if you're Celiac.

Hey Katie, can you guys pleeease put something on your website telling us the strength of the fragrance in the soaps? I ordered a couple of soaps recently (apple cider and blue raspberry) and I'm a little disappointed the apple cider isn't very strong. Everything about the soaps is fantastic by the way and I will always be a repeat customer, I just want powerful smelling soaps lol. Like the grape scented one from last year I think it was, was stronger smelling than my air freshener and I freaking loved it!! Thank you always, love your videos!

What is in other bases that they need to point out that it’s gluten free?
These are so adorable. It's a shame that food imitation products are banned in the UK. Though you can buy some in some big stores. I'm looking to get my soaps CSRP done (chemical testing) eventually when I've moved into my new workshop. What package is the best to go with?. Ok, I went to look for the kit and it’s not an actual kit. You have to purchase all of the ingredients separately. I also looked to see if they recommended a piping bag or rips and I didn’t see where they included that in the things to buy or things you need on hand. Maybe I over looked it? They are super cute but it’s not a lot I can just mail over to my grandkids.
