The player on Bengal no longer wanted to play and we came in and started playing on his nation permanently.
Bengal is my favorite nation in my least favorite region (india). There is a lot of build up for this nation but you know that if I am playing on it there will be a lot of inting.

There is an event I got only once in all my time playing eu4 and I don't remember the name of the event nor could I find anything online. But one time I bankrupted, there was an event that popped off that gave me +3 stab.
Bankrupted many times and never saw, its probably a country event, specially the countries with disaster as the "campaign" give huge stabs after ending the disaster
@@pedronabais1456 I thought it was but i couldnt find anything like the event in the country nor religion wiki. And I wasnt in a disaster either. It has something to do with royal marriage I think as well, but couldnt find anything about it.
If you have -3 stab (and I think bankrupt, but I don't remember) and another country has your dynasty, they can get an event that basically amounts to "You're brother's country is on fire. Should we send them some help?" If you do send help, I believe it gives some ducats, but I know it also gives some stability to the other country.

I get the deception about the max money, but isn't it kinda cheesy to take his money like that? I understand that it's a game and you were playing to win and he should've looked at the deal prior to hitting accept, but still seems a little gamey imo.
I mean if you look for historical accuracy: there was italy basically doing the same to ethopia or whenever europeans wanted something from any native tribes or kingdoms

@@adamsanchez8627 its not convoluted its a very simple scam that takes advantage of the player not being fully alert. its comparable to rushing a mothballed fort on the border or baiting troops into bad terrain
@@acey457 maybe convoluted isn’t the right word. I get what you’re saying and at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter. Imo I just think it was a cheesy way to win. I doubt doubt his playing abilities he’d absolutely crush me in this game just thought it was cheesy of him to do that or of anyone to do stuff like that. In EU4 or HOI4 cuz it happens in both games, just think it’s cheap to cheat a player like that kinda.
