In this series I started as Burgundy in a multiplayer game and formed Netherlands. Burgundy is a rough nation in multiplayer as you are surrounded by people who want to kill you and you cant really expand that much. The HRE is to your east and the big blue blob France is to your right and on top of you is a big bad scary England.
What will I do in this series to survive? Will I thrive or will I fall by the wayside as other nations take the mantel as the strongest nation in the multiplayer game.

The guys playing as England and France are either really good people or simply harmless. They could have killed Habibi at several points

france was played by cerkies, a mod in habibis server, they are friendly with each other. same with zlewick and hogoton, they alongside habibi do usually stick to their deals with each other unless doing so is actually bad for them, in this case it wasnt a bad deal

It seems like France is going for a Genoa focused run so they probably don't care much about the English Channel

France's deal with me ended up paying off (spoilers next parts) but 100% if my entire army got wiped in England or that war dragged on too long, he would have joined defensively on England's side and killed me. England I think was hesitant to join against me because I was allied to France.

Wait, do age-bonuses last for the whole game? I thought they only count for that age. So for example picking the +1 combat in capital terrain only counts in the first age. Was I wrong?

age bonuses do end with the next age, it was still the age of discovery until well into the 1500s this game. Habibi was just minmaxing the bonus for the Hesse war
