Man is born in Portuguese la plata. Meet a many hundred thousand army from the entirety of the American continent across an ocean to stand in the highly developed Portuguese Congo jungle and march across the continent to fight in the Great Lakes and the savanna. Then you are ordered, together with the entire band, to march NORTH through the Sahara to hop a boat, land in roman Italy, climb the alps and fight the Germans in Central Europe. You’ll later be called back to Iberia to fight the Romans on the Pyrenees.
Love that you and Spain just kept allies throughout it all. Pretty insane Portugal and was consistently an interesting campaign.
You almost never want to kill Portugal as a spain player as the Portuguese player will steer a lot of income to the sevilla trade node similar thing goes for portugal spain is a good ally to have
Iberian brothers till the bitter end.
But it made sense since what Portugal didn't want conquer Spain could and vice-versa which is almost what happened irl

Fighting with more cannon stacks makes for "better" wars, it is a lot more dynamic then just reinforcing on one or two battles. Plus I must say every 20+ minute video is just straight fire!
I love the commitment with Spain. Best buddies through the entire campaign, always having eachothers back. That was beautiful

Habibi "Get to the front. Hold the line" you always end up playing HOI instead of EU4 and I guess that just shows the skill level
I think it kinda just shows how good of a game eu4 is when played at an extreme level it emulates the struggle between nations in the time period very very well
@@shanedussault740 personally I would play the game a whole lot more if the government and military structure was more intricate and fleshed out cause right now to me I just can’t play sp because if I have bigger army I stronk, and I don’t always have the time for mp which is why this channel is so freaking awesome
This is probably the greatest MP campaign and the greatest Portugal campaign of all EU4 history my god was this such a wild ride

Imagine if this campaign went on for a little longer. Spain could have taken France and the lowlands with Habibi taking all of Britain and Ireland and the last couple provinces in the US, with Canada going to Spain. That way both would have had a bunch of coal provinces and could split the English channel 50/50 too. Together with owning all of the New World they might have been able to win wars 2vs5 against Rome, Russia, North German Confederation, Arabia and Mughals consistently.

U triggered me when u chose the portrait of one of the 3 spanish kings of the iberian union to represent the king of portugal, those 3 guys destroyed portugal and its empire by negleting it to fulfill spanish interrests. They dragged us to wars with the brittish and dutch and they took our undefended colonies bcs of the spanish neglect
