Holy crap that's Ian!! As someone who had a father that didn't care about offroading and never taught me much about vehicles in general, Ian and the Powerblock guys are responsible for teaching me sooo much of what I learned as a kid and what started my love of the automotive hobby.
Having so many different kinds of jeeps, approach techniques and tire sizes going up the same line from the same angle is very cool. It helps to see the dynamics, finesse and techniques that work the best, especially for a given vehicle type. Cool stuff!

I was there for my 3rd EJS. We ran elephant hill, top of the world, fins n things twice (2nd time was a night run), porcupine rim and hell roaming rim. Fabulous trip with good friends and great weather. Didn't break anything, rubber side was down....mostly. I saw the stepchild around town a couple of times. Acquired some bling at the vendor show too. Great video. Be safe. Shiney side up, rubber side down.

Great video as always! Just wrapped up my first ever trip this weekend. Hit Rausch Creek with my local club and did Cemetery amongst others. But y’all saved my hard top about 3/4 through Cemetery. I’m pretty sure that in an old video, after the first long rock garden, you pointed out a short stump on the left that would push you into the tree on the opposite side. I remembered that clear as day as I came up on it. Stopped my jeep and got out-sure enough there’s a pile of broken tinted hardtop glass at the foot of the tree from all those non-LiteBrite subscribers. They should know better. 😆

It's the fact that you get to enjoy your many adventures together as husband and wife. I took my wife on the easiest trail my club does years ago and she was terrified the entire time so she has never been back in the Jeep off road. You know what’s wrong with this channel? I’ll tell you. My wife and I are not Jeep drivers but we both truly enjoy this channel. We anxiously await Wednesdays and Sundays so we can see the next video. Now here’s the problem. We get so used to seeing the Step Child and everyone else’s built rigs that when we see stock Jeeps on the road our thoughts are “Oh, aren’t those little tires cute.” and also wonder why it sites so low.

Love to watch your channel, I only have an old 2wd huge truck. No rocks or mud or trails for me. How do you get over the feeling that your doing damage to these expensive trucks ?
If they’re built correctly, you generally aren’t doing any damage. It usually just sounds worse than it is. Basic maintenance, good parts, & smart driving and most off road builds will last a really long time!
We kept hitting road blocks (trails being closed indefinitely or during certain seasons etc - and it just made it difficult to schedule. So we decided to just hit them as we come across them naturally

I saw a few hemi swapped jeeps at EJS. I was a little surprised. Is there something specific about the hemi that overcomes the weight disadvantage compared to LS swaps?
@@kylegreen378 as I understajd it if you are swatting a Jeep with electronics it is easier to make all the electronics work with a mopar item (Hemi). If you pout an LS in a Jeep you are pairing a GM item with a Chrysler two competitors. And some may disagree but I personally like the Hemi for reliability. I have known many many LS or GM motors that are far more costly and in some cases less well built. Dont get me wrong though the performance out of an LS is unmatched in my opinion
