A bit more than a year later, it's cool to see how much more confident Matt has become driving the Morrvair. Its capability has continued to exceed expectations, too.

Might be 1 of the very few Car based Custom builds that have ever gone through so smoothly, Im sure It's going to turn a lot of heads on the trail's etc.
I was pleasantly surprised to see you and your crew with MORR at MOAB! The winch line is very nice. Figured you were gonna just kinda settle down and take it easy after saving Tennessee from the Super Volcano and the Nazees, so it's good your still wheeling.
Would they call that suspension articulation? Whatever they call it, it was epic. Incredible angles and in opposite directions sometimes, and keeping the tires in contact with the ground so all four wheels are pushing you forward. I think Matt mentioned that a lower crawl speed gear would have been good, but if that's all he could think of with a just completed major project, then that is a spectacular success in my book.
Lost my dad in February to cancer. I was thinking the same thing watching this video. Enjoy your parents while you can, this life doesn’t last forever.
Matt, your pride is warranted, you and your team built an exceptional machine. More than that, you have raised a good son “Rudy”. Both of you are the best of friends, and you just don’t see that very often. Congratulations on your build.
I gotta give props to your camera crew. Your channel is fun to watch because y'all seem like good people and do some cool stuff. But having great documentation is what really brings it home. Your attitudes/personalities make the content super down to earth and relatable, while the videography and editing make it flow like high end production. Good work to the folks behind the scenes! Thanks for keeping our attention focused. Hard to stop binging on these videos.
Two things: • This video series inspired me to nut-up & just start fabricating. Nobody can tell you "what will work" but you. Your rig runs smooth as silk and looks badass! • Matt, were you more proud of the rig itself, or the fact that your Boy is a wicked fabricator and damn good driver? Totally looked like you were having a "Proud Papa" moment lol. I love that feeling!

This is amoungst my favorite episodes of MORR, seeing you and Rudy just out stretching your limits in your amazingly built vehicle. I have watched the whole build series again over the last few days. Such an amazing job. The scenery shots in this episode are off the hook and I wish you would do more of this style of video. Thanks for taking us along.
The Corvair has turned out to be an incredibly capable rig! It's wonderful to see Matt do a little dance of celebration . I found MORR about six months ago and have been playing catch up ever since. Watched until I was caught up with, then, all the new stuff. Have gone back to start from the beginning. Very interesting to watch the channel progress and the MorrVair come to life. I'm looking forward to the creation of the tow truck now. You guys have great content! We often babysit our, almost 2 Y/O, grandson on Tuesdays. He has loves to sit on Poppas lap and watch the big yellow truck get trucks unstuck. Fantastic Job Matt, Rudy and the rest of your team, for building a wonderfully badass vehicle that does EXACTLY what you designed it for with apparent ease.
Every episode i kept waiting for Matt to paint over the Halloween face on the rear axle but noticed it's there to stay, too funny. This is such a cool vehicle to watch climb these trails. Great job team
Awesome results! Very happy and proud of you guys for a job well done. Really cool to see that rig perform so well on its first outing. Not just it’s ability to wheel through some really difficult terrain, but the vehicle seemed very reliable. No stalls, overheating or electrical gremlins. A credit to the team, great mechanics and fabricators

When a corvair moves that gracefully over hill and dale, it becomes referred to as a "SHE". So guess the future name might be a female name. The fact that you took that new vehicle and that you let Rudy drive it says a lot about the future of Matt's Off Road Recovery. Hats off to you guys and look forward to watching a lot more of your adventures.
I lived there for 15 years. Raised my kids there, it was awesome. Now it's so overrun it's not so pleasant. The town permits more than 10 new hotels every year. My friends call it hotel Moab. Then the city went and put a moratorium on air bnb's. It got pretty annoying living there.
@@brenthunsaker9042 My brother and I wanted to build a hotel there in the 80's before Moab started getting popular. The banks turned us down for a loan saying Moab was a dying town. There were only 3 or 4 hotels there at the time with a motel or two shut down for lack of business. We could see the change coming. A couple years later the hotels started popping up. Like you, other locals moved out because it wasn't quaint any more.
Man, my stomach was in knots before the 20 minute mark. I can't imagine what it would be like riding. I'm very happy watching it from the comfort of my chair. Rudy and his Corvair made it look real easy. Matt, I'm sure you taught him everything he knows.

That Corvair rocks!. What a beast machine. Well done to all of you. Great to see your hard work pay off. The tracks & views around Moab are legendary. One of the best videos yet.

Hey guys, I briefly said hi to Matt and Rudy by Lite Brite's both. These guys are so down to earth. Thank you Matt and Rudy for bringing us along on your adventures and also demonstrating what a good family looks like...in today's society that's not seen enough.

Your Crawlvair is amazing! Such sure-footedness. It makes all of the challenges look so easy, and I know they're not! I cannot believe how perfectly you designed and created that machine! You must be extremely pleased!
So awesome to watch you and your son play with the toy you built together. That cartruck is priceless. Great job guys. EDIT: Oh BTW, that's the most capable machine with a long ass wheelbase you could have ever hoped for. It performed amazingly well.

This has been such an amazing project and the fact that it's a family project just makes it so incredible can't wait to see it progress and come together
To all the guys and gals at Matt's workshop you did a great job. I believe that your station wagon did a better job on the trails than the purpose built trucks. The LS sounded great and didn't even work hard, it just walked around the trails. GOOD JOB!!
I was so happy to see that this video was longer than usual. Then I almost could not handle all the heart-pounding maneuvering. Your skills are amazing but I was still gasping every few seconds, it seemed. The scenery is fabulous. It's like being there. Happy that you enjoyed it and the Corvair performed so well.
The only thing I can think of that makes the Corvair better than it performed is the fact you built that with your Son. Outstanding!!

Hey guys, I briefly said hi to Matt and Rudy by Lite Brite's both. These guys are so down to earth. Thank you Matt and Rudy for bringing us along on your adventures and also demonstrating what a good family looks like...in today's society that's not seen enough.
You guys can be immensely proud of the Corvair build, it really did great!
0:43 Matt: He's also our tour guide.
- I don't know if I'd call myself a tour guide, I thought you were leading?
That laugh of Matt's though. Golden!
I still like the "Snaggin' Wagon." I am extremely impressed that your guys ran that rig on its first real outing without any mechanical failures.
What a beautiful part of the world you guys live in. Thank you so much for taking us on your adventures.
This has gotta be your guys' best video / production yet! Great job
“Corviar don’t care” you will have to get that put on it! 😂
That Corvair needs to go to SEMA. You guys have built a one of a kind rig. You should be exceptionally proud of all you have accomplished with it. Can’t wait to finally see it out on a recovery!
Your Crawlvair is amazing! Such sure-footedness. It makes all of the challenges look so easy, and I know they're not! I cannot believe how perfectly you designed and created that machine! You must be extremely pleased!
You made CORVAIR PROUD. Fantastic job.
Only a few minutes into it but damn, I love that group shot on the over look thats a classic blow it up and put it on the wall picture.
So awesome to watch you and your son play with the toy you built together. That cartruck is priceless. Great job guys. EDIT: Oh BTW, that's the most capable machine with a long ass wheelbase you could have ever hoped for. It performed amazingly well.
This is the video I have been waiting for. There were a lot of nice vehicles but the Vair stood out the most and best,,
Man you and the crew have done such an awesome job! Cant wait for it to be finished!!!
Rudy seems like a good kid, Matt must be proud👍
You can see Matt is very proud of him. He let him drive the Corvair, because he knows how hard Rudy worked on it.
Without complaining.
Great shakedown Cruise! The Corvair is very capable of handling most everything you throw at it. It’s going to be an awesome recovery unit.
I have got to say , for a home made machine , that is a monster , it didn't even bat an eyelid , even at Hells Revenge and the Escalator ! Well done guys , that is one awesome offroad beast , will be excelent at its recovery job by the look of things !
I am soooo happy for you guys!!! Thanks for taking me along for the ride!! I didn't build it, but I feel like I'm a part of it anyway! I was cheering right on right you!!! OMG so exciting! So much fun to watch! Love you guys!!!
Matt you summed it up perfectly in one sentence......"The Corvair was shining" I for one is super amazed!
Great first 4 wheeling adventure !!!!
Cool collector car/ crawler/ recovery vehicle !!!!! Gotta be the only one of its kind !! Glad you shared the experience with Bleepin' Jeep crew, Matt & Matt, & their killer crews !!!
Thank you for taking us on that journey. Not all of us have a means to do these types of trails, so riding along with you as you experience it is AMAZING! You guys rock, and Hawty Rudy proves himself again. Looking forward to the next one!
That was. SO great watching you and Rudy driving the Civair through its passes, what a joy! We were thrilled and proud with you!
I don't know why but there's something so satisfying about those tires squishing against the rocks and biting in as the truck crawls!
Like a proud father watching his baby taking its first steps great video mat and a job well done team
